What we’re playing this weekend: Devs eating up the Orange Box

I thought our guys at the office had it bad for Bioshock when it came out, but I think the frenzy over the Orange Box might have eclipsed it. It’s not too surprising, it’s got Half-Life 2 and the episodic content, Team Fortress 2 for frenzied multiplayer, and that’s without mentioning the ingenious madness of Portal.

Still, there’s plenty of other games being played. Folks are digging pointing and tapping action of The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglas, and playing recent favorites like Company of Heroes: Opposing Fronts, Halo 3 and Bioshock.

Here’s the rundown:

Reader Comments

  1. I am with Jonah Lobe, Character Artist, I too love Team Fortress 2, Red Orchestra and everyone likes Half-Life… I even host server with TF2 and Red Orchestra using co-location service from Nationwide Bandwidth 67.90.47.47

  2. Games I’m playing— Timeshift, RealFlight G3.5. Timeshift is really awesome– similar feeling in some ways to Fallout with the dark/rainy environments. BTW the trailer for Fallout 3 is great– couldn’t have picked a better classic song for the trailer, since the overall theme is so similar to Fallout 2. Looking forward to Fallout 3.
