The holidays have come and gone. Farewell egg nog, holiday parties, and wonderful time off. So what do folks have to look forward to now? Well, since the Redskins had a strong finish, plenty of folks around the office are jacked up for this weekend’s matchup against the Seahawks. Other than that, well…the weekend is always a good time to catch up with the latest games we’re playing…
Orin Tresnjak, Installshield Wrangler: Super Mario Galaxy, Geometry Wars Galaxies (Wii version), Crysis. Maybe breaking out Just Cause for 360 again (such a wonderful, underrated game).
Dan Lee, Environment Artist: Sonic Rush Adventure (DS), Crackdown (360), and Virtua Tennis 3 (360).
Gary Noonan, Character Animator: Was playing and enjoying Mass Effect, but sadly only took me 15 hours to beat. Sooooo, playing Bard’s Tale 360 for old time’s sake.
Craig Lafferty, Producer: Mass Effect, Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga, Rock Band, Mario Party DS with the kids.
Ricardo Gonzalez, Programmer At-Large: Rock Band ( Vocals and Drums ), WoW ( Fire Mage and Holy Priest )
Aaron Mitschelen, QA: LotRO, Soul Nomad and the World Eaters, Bleach: The Blade of Fate (best handheld fighter since SNK vs. Capcom for the Neo Geo Pocket Color!)
Shannon Bailey, Programmer: Rock Band, Guitar Hero III, Xenosaga
Ryan Lea: World of Warcraft, Bioshock, and maybe Call of Duty 4
Mike McGinn, QA: My struggle through B20 in Etrian Odyssey continues dragging out since I am too stubborn to grind and level up. This will go on until I get tired of it and switch over to Wizardry: Tale of the Forsaken Land, which is kind of the same thing but better. If the gods of international shipping have been kind then I will also have my own copy of Umihara Kawase Shun which is the best goddamn platformer ever.
Ashley Cheng, Producer: The Witcher, Mass Effect, Super Mario Galaxy
Ryan Ashford, QA: Phoenix Wright: Trials and Tribulations, Team Fortress 2, Ico
Dan Ross, QA: Finishing Half-Life 2: Episode 1, a little Dawn of War: Dark Crusade, and if I have time maybe some Final Fantasy XII.
Michael Lattanzia, QA: Hellgate: London, Rockband, Disgaea: Afternoon of Darkness, Monster Hunter Freedom 2, Team Fortress 2
Tim “Visor” Lamb, Associate Producer: COD4 still! Prestige is addictive.
Mike Dulany, Programmer: Contra 4, Rock Band
Jonathan Bilodeau, Graphics Programmer: Mass Effect (3rd play through)
Nate Ellis, Design Intern: Sim City (DS), Rock Band, and WoW.
Erin Losi, Marketing: Orange Box – still
Megan Sawyer, Artist: Clubhouse games on DS, Raving Rabbids 2, and lots of scrabble.
Matt Grandstaff, Community Manager: Contra 4, Half-Life 2: Episode 2, Uncharted, Scene It
Daryl Brigner, Level Designer: Portal SDK, and The Witcher,
Fred Zeleny, Wasteland Scavenger: Rock Band, TF2, World of Warcraft, Fallout 1, and longing for Advance Wars: Days of Ruin.
Ryan Salvatore, World Art Intern: Finally got Bioshock, but I’ll probably also find time for Team Fortress 2 and Portal, and I might bust out the PS2 to give Odin Sphere a try.
Pete Hines: Bioshock, Jeanne D’ Arc, Picross, Crysis, The Witcher, CoH
Nate Purkeypile, Triangle Wrangler: Super Mario Galaxy, TF2 and Call of Duty 4.
Gavin Carter, Producer: Metal Slug 3 XBLA, and playing the Ocean King Temple yet again in Phantom Hourglass.
Dane “Brawny Man” Olds: Mass Effect, Contra 4, DOOM XBLA
Cory “Chief Medic of [V101]” Dornbusch, QA Tester: TF2 for the PC after work and then Dirt for the 360 with my new Racing wheel I got during the holiday. Yeah!
Todd Howard: That’s So Raven: Psychic on the Scene, Hannah Montana DS, The Cheetah Girls (GBA)…(he’s out of the office so we just guessed at what he might be playing)
