What we’re watching: “So say we all” edition

Like many others here, I’m a big fan of Battlestar Galactica. Finally, after a long frakkin’ wait, the fourth and final season begins tonight! Who will be revealed as the 12th Cylon? Will Starbuck lead them to Earth? Will Gaius Baltar redeem himself? Here’s hoping for answers and a great final season.

Here’s what the rest of us are watching. Feel free to drop by and share what you’re watching…

Matt Grandstaff, Community Manager: Battlestar Galactica Season 4, The Final Four, In Treatment, Lost

Ashley Cheng, Producer: Lost, Battlestar, Eli Stone, Tell Me You Love Me (Season 1 on DVD), In Treatment (Season 1 – free from Amazon Unbox on Tivo!)

Pete Hines: Heroes Season 1, Battlestar Galactica Season 2, 24 Season 4 (can you tell it’s “road trip” time?)

Lindsay Westcott, Marketing: I’m catching up on Prison Break, Mythbusters, and awaiting the return of Lost. I also watch an embarrassing amount of How It’s Made and Jeopardy.

Craig Lafferty, Producer: Rome Season 2.

Mike Lipari, Father of Toddler: Thomas the Tank Engine *sigh*

Nate Purkeypile, Intergalactic Warlord: Twilight Zone, Lost, more Twilight Zone.

Cory Dornbusch, QA Tester: BSG! Other than that. I will be looking at a Maya UI, tumbling a 3D camera around as I model.

Jesse Tucker, Level Design: Games > TV

Jenna Noland, QA: I only wish I could be watching the premiere of the 4th season of Doctor Who!

Gary Noonan, Character Animator: BSG (new and a few DVR’d ones), Smallville, Vexille

Ryan Salvatore, Art Intern: Razor, Stargate SG1 Season 9, possibly V for Vendetta

Larry Waldman, QA: Torchwood, something out of my 3000+ DVD collection.

Aaron Mitschelen, QA: Key: The Metal Idol, Wandaba Style, Bleach, Divergence Eve, Downfall.

Mike Lattanzia, QA: Angel Season 1 (for the third time), Buffy Season 5 (for the first time), and hopefully Sweeney Todd again soon.

Dan Ross, QA: I’ll be watching paintballs fly by my head cuz I’ll be in ur base, tagging out ur players.

Louis Riley, QA: Extras season 1, Lone Wolf and Cub: Baby Cart at the River Styx, Paprika

  1. I’ll be beating the extra mission on Call of Duty 4 on veteran difficulty, but I hope it won’t take all weekend. Last night I kept getting to the shot at the end an just slightly hitting the hostage every time. I also learned the hard way you can’t do leg shots on veteran or the game makes fun of you.

  2. Wouldnt have known the new BG season had started if I hadn’t read this. Last season though? Ugh..it’s been so long since season 3 I have totally lost touch. Damn Film Actors Guild.

What do you call it when you’re both happy (new season, yay!) and sad (last season, boo) at the same time?

  3. “My Name is Earl” was a funny one… Paris Hilton doesn’t know how to act…
The Oblongs(on Friday nights), but I’m a bit to busy playing “The godfather” on the 360 to watch anything else to be honest… oh and “The Bernie Mac show”
repeats at… 12 or so, and Don’t forget about Kenan and Kel, and Fresh-Prince of Bel Air( I love that show!)
    That’s pretty much it! :)

  4. [Jenna Noland, QA: I only wish I could be watching the premiere of the 4th season of Doctor Who!]

The show lost me after Tom Baker left. Guess he had that 1970s retro thing going while the newer ones seem too modern and unmagical.

{Gary Noonan, Character Animator: BSG (new and a few DVR’d ones), Smallville, Vexille]

Never thought I’d like a show about Superman except for the old black and white version I watched as a kid. SMALLVILLE is most refreshing especially the way they made Lex Luthor actually likeable and being able to sympathize with his motives.

    What am watching :D :D :D

    FLESH EATING MOTHERS
    FOOD OF THE GODS
    DAWN OF THE MUMMY
    SPONGEBOB SQUAREPANTS
    THOU SHALT NOT KILL..EXCEPT
    BEAST OF THE YELLOW LIGHT
    SCALPS

  5. The Indiana Jones movies!

I’m thinking I’ll have to find Romancing the Stones after that, I can’t recall if that was a good or bad movie.

  6. Oh forgot to mention ROMANCING THE STONE was a decent movie but it may have resembled the Indiana Jones series too much. Still it did great in theaters and would probably be good to watch now as a time piece trend instead of a blatent ripoff :D

  7. @ Hellbishop: I was nearly lost after S2 of Doctor Who, but I can’t help wanting to watch it again after I heard some things about S4. It’s the only reason I gave S3 a chance! :)

  8. In terms of television though, I most likely will watch Comedy Central and some Food Network or Discovery Channel, of whichever show catches my fancey at that time.

  9. Oops forgot to say about good ‘ol Hells kitchen, I think its funny, poor Ramsey…
    has to yell at idiots…
