Just a head’s up, we’ve received word from the folks at Amazon that the Fallout 3 Survival Edition for PlayStation 3 has sold out. So if you’re looking for it on their site, now you know why it’s not there. For those wanting to order the Survival Edition on Xbox 360 or Games for Windows, we’re told these are expected to sell out soon as well.

If you missed it, the Survival Edition includes:

  • Fallout 3 (yes, it has the game)
  • A life-size replica of the Pip-Boy 3000, the wrist-mounted device worn by characters in the game.
  • Vault Boy Bobblehead: Your very own Vault Boy collector’s item is direct from Vault-Tec.
  • The Art of Fallout 3: Features nearly 100 pages of never-before seen concept art and commentary from Bethesda Game Studios artists.
  • The Making of Fallout 3 DVD: An exclusive, inside look at Bethesda Game Studios and the team behind the game.
  • Vault-Tec Lunch Box: A fully customized metal lunch box.

Again, the Survival Edition of the game is exclusive to Amazon.com and only availabe to US residents.

  1. You know a good way of saying “thank you” to all the PS3 owners who just spent all that money on the survival edition?

Give them trophy support! I mean, come on, the 360 is getting exclusive DLC, can’t us PS3 fans get some love too??

  2. Gotta third what Gilboro and Jay said, it realy is a pity that we can’t get the Survival Edition. I would’ve loved to get a PipBoy.

Oh well, at least I’m getting the Collector’s Edition, which is still awesome.

  3. Third what Gilboron said. Why do you hate ps3 owners? The same group that didn’t get all of the Oblivion DLC is the 1st group to buy out the survival edition, but you’re still going to screw them? Man, that really sucks.

  4. Well Kinda interesting that on a article about PS3 version selling out you have a 360 case :) I guess since they have the ability to download they can add in trophies later so that’s not too big a deal. Hear hear on the throw the PS3 users a bone though!!

  5. I got my 360 edition pre-ordered the day it was announced. Also do you think someone could beg Amazon to do the “release day” shipping for the Survival Edition. I will be bummed out if I don’t get mine the first day.
