Because of the holidays, this was the first week back at the office for many folks, and boy, did it feel like a long week. This week’s “What we’re playing” is coming a little late, because as soon as I got home on Friday, all I wanted to do is relax and play games — finishing Dead Space and finally getting to Left 4 Dead.
Here’s this week’s rundown. Tell us what you’ve been playing this weekend.
Emil Pagliarulo, Fallout 3 Lead Designer & Writer: King’s Bounty (pictured above), Dead Space, World of Warcraft, Mount and Blade, and Tomb Raider: Underworld.
Craig Lafferty, Producer: Kings Bounty, LittleBigPlanet, Midnight Club: LA, iPhone.
Ryan Lea, Programmer: Valkaryia Chronicles!
Orin Tresnjak, Graphics Programmer: Ninja Gaiden 2, Red Alert 3, Prince of Persia.
Andrew Scharf: Fable 2, Beyond Good and Evil, and just started playing Persona 4… which will probably take up all of my time the next month or so.
Ashley Cheng, Producer: GTA IV, Prince of Persia, Fable 2.
Chris Esko, Gameplay Programmer: Banjo & Kazooie: Nuts and Bolts, Left 4 Dead, Street Fighter 2 HD Turbo Remix, Hinterland.

Adam Adamowicz: Fallout 3, baby.
Tim Lamb, Producer: COD4 mostly.
Brett Douville, Systems Code Wrangler: Left 4 Dead, Ivory Tiles (a great iPhone puzzle game), and the odd little bit of WoW.
Michael Lattanzia, QA: Fable 2, Warhammer Online, Animal Crossing: Wild World, Monster Hunter Freedom 2 (on my Japanese special edition Monster Hunter PSP), Rock Band 2, Gears of War 2, Sacred 2… Whew, I’m finally able to start catching up on games.

Matt Weil: Mount & Blade, X3: Terran Conflict, Left 4 Dead.

Nate Purkeypile, Panda Researcher: World of Goo, The Witcher and Call of Duty: World at War.

Kings Bounty is a great game. Surprise release of 2008, I hope everyone will hear this game’s name in future. Give it a try guys if you like Heroes of Might & Magic series.
I’m playing King’s Bounty mostly. Some Mirror’s Edge and NBA 2k9 also happens.
But this week, I’m checking out Windows 7 beta…
I demo’d Kings Bounty and wanted to Bleach my HDD afterwards. How can you play that!?
I’m playing the Morrowind Total Conversion from SureAI called Arktwend. And finishing GTA IV. I found out the ending in a quest walkthrough and that spoiler made me reluctant to finish it.
Contact for the DS. Maybe replaying some Phoenix Wright: Justice For All. And if I get to hang out with some of my friends – Halo 3, Gears 2 and maybe Castle Crashers.
And if it counts, Scene It? Move Edition. Party games IRL!!
I dont have time for playing games… you know, as part of the Odin Temple, searching for Sven,… my tasks dont let me much time apart for gambling and drinking bats blood in the seahorse tabern…uhmm…I mean… well, I will have to stop playing Legends of valour or maybe one of those nights I will meet someone that only can answer me “grrrrrr” and you know…licantropy isn´t cheap or easy to be healed…
Im Playing Dead Space, L4D, and my favorite Rock Band 2.
Yay Christmas splurge!
Loving the Castle Crashers and Left 4 Dead right now. Also, about to blow a certain Ghoul named after a Satanist’ head off. (breaks into song)
I’m playing CoD4 Multiplayer since I just got a 1 month free XBL Gold trial.
Having some fun with a late-arriving Chirstmas XNA book, testing out The Orange Box and Rainbow Six Vegas (yeah, I know they’ve been out a while) and kicking it old school with Star Wars:KOTOR. ^.^
Woohoo! You know what’d be more awesome, if you guys would release the fallout 3 patch!
I’ve been splitting my time between Fallout 3, Little Big Planet, and Resistance 2. LBP is getting its hooks in me though, I might start focusing on it soon. =)
Just reinstalled Oblivion with DLCs and Shivering Isles after getting constant crashes with mods. Ugh! my name is Charlie Brown. Twice this past week I had to reinstall due to testing out a mod and then with a new mod setup which was no longer flawless as the one before the beta testing. Think I’ll just stick to the Unofficial Patches and Darn’s Dark UI for a few months of non crashing game joy
Later this week I’ll be getting LEFT FOR DEAD so looking forward to that. At the moment am playing a bunch of oldies which miraculously work on my less then a year old new pc:
Civilization 2
Sid Meier’s Alpha Centauri
Heavy Gear 2
Beyond Divinity
Unreal
Wizards & Warriors
Painkiller Expansion: Battle Out Of Hell
Morrowind (no mods! grrr)
FALLOUT 3 with a bunch of horror/sci-fi movie music mixed in with the original great music.
We are waiting the DLC guys. So don’t play a lot.
I have been playing fallout 3 for the thrird time. I have been waiting for the DLC!!! =) I should be getting Left 4 Dead tomorrow and Mirror’s Edge very soon.
At the moment, Grand Theft Auto IV, and Fallout 3 are eating all of my gametime!
Maldenya.
Sacred 2 mostly and little Fallout 3…
Battlefield Vietnam mostly, and maybe some Fallout 3…if the mood strikes.
I’m playing Fallout 3_40% L4D_20% TF2_10% & Defense grid_30%.
I am playing Fallout 1 from gog.com right now.How about releasing TES on gog, huh, Beth?
