Those of you out there modding Fallout 3 with the G.E.C.K., I thought you should know about a new modding contest over at Planet Fallout called Project Safehouse.
For the contest, they’ll be looking for the best user-created Vault in three categories:
- Personal Vault
- Corporate Vault
- Government Vault
For each of the three categories, contest sponsor NVIDIA will be giving away a GeForce 9800 GTX Graphic Card. The Project Safehouse Contest is for US citizens who are at least 18 years of age and runs until April 2, 2009. For more details and contest rules, head to Planet Fallout.

Interesting contest. It’s a shame it’s only for US citizens.
Where do I ask questions? (I wanna know if we can use voices in this one.)
Yeah, it’s US only. I’d head over to Planet Fallout to ask any questions regarding the contest.
Cheers
Darn Us only, would love tow in one of those geforce 9800 GTX’s, not that I’d ever win, but i could try XD
Already replied to illyism. We will start doing contests with prizes outside the US soon.
DLC content is OK but the size of the downloads are too big. Telstra Bigpond is the only ISP provider that has a relable wireless service to my area and their download limits are extremely expensive in the provision to bandwidth. I am living in a small pocket of pair gain serviced telephone services less the %KM from local ADSL capable exchange and about 8.5 KM form the State capital Adelaide city centre. The land line and cable services terminate less than 80 metres north of my house and approx 180 metres south – we are in one of the notorious inner urban ‘Black Spots’ that our government and Telco’s do not acknowledge. My alternative wireless providers use the Optus network, or their own links through Optus – offering are 4 to 6 times the download limits at a comparable cost to Telstra. Unfortunately, their ‘G Network Voice and Data infrastructure is low grade, and suffers from dropouts and traffic congestion – that last thing I need when downloading from Microsoft LIVE is a dropout, or data corruption. When can we expect the DVD version of the DLC’s, regards. Wal Cole
good job illysim!
