  1. I hope that the excitement/satisfaction level that Carmack seems to have about this new step for id is real and not just a “face for the camera”. I really admire id for sticking it out as long as they had as an independent. And even more so, glad id was picked up by an up and comer like Zenimax, instead of some of those other publishing houses.

  2. Read it and weap
“We are pleased to announce that Fallout® 3 downloadable content (DLC) is coming to PLAYSTATION®3 computer entertainment system. We have been working on implementing it for a while and look forward to bringing it to PS3 gamers via the PlayStation Network. Operation Anchorage will be released for PS3 in late June, followed by the release of The Pitt and Broken Steel 4-6 weeks apart. Release dates will be forthcoming.”

  3. “Operation: Anchorage will be released for PS3 in late June”

Funny. I didn’t know that today was the end of the definition of “Late June”.

  4. But they havent realesed the date that is “forthcoming” what are they going to realese the date the day after it comes out beacuas theres only 3 days left?
Then the website will be like:

    07.01.09-operation anchorage for ps3
Operation anchorage ps3′s 1st downloadable content (DLC) comes to the playstation store on 06.30.09. Cant wait!

  5. Sorry if i seem mad or upset but i have checked for 39 days in a row (including today & yes i counted) waiting for the “forthcoming” dates.
    (here are the spesifices 05.20.09—06.27.09)

  6. Please fix the glitch in which characters occasionally get permanently locked out of Tenpenny Tower. For someone like me who has a level thirty in which he/she invested 52 hours, not being able to get into his/her house is incredibly detrimental to mental health. And probably blood pressure, come to think of it. My issue with it is on Xbox 360, but from google-ing it profusely desperately searching for a solution, I found that it happens on all platforms.

  7. Yes June is out soon, but not over yet :-)
Early July might still be your best bet though, that’s what I’ve seen on most sites and heard in interviews the most. Even though they still write late june on the official page.

I think that Bethesda is in doubt about when the conversion will be complete thats why you haven’t seen any axact dates yet. Besides Bethesda has never been know to release dates a long time in advance, or news and updates for that matter.

  8. Wait when you say early july are we talking about 3 days or 13 days? Becuase i dont want to wait that much longer.

  9. Well whether you want to wait or not is really rather irrelevant isn’t it? Bethesda will release it when they are ready to do so.
I don’t have any connections to Bethesda so if it’s 3,5,8, 10 or more days I couldn’t say. My quess is as good as any guess on that subject. The PS3 fans are going to get all the DLC’s so I really don’t see the point in the continuing whining from the PS3 gamers. It’s not going to go any faster just because you cry about it.
Not that I don’t feel with you guys. You are really missing out on a lot of Fallout 3 fun.

  10. i just picked a random number of days mothership :-) within the boundaries of the term (beginning of the month) and at the same time i hit timemarks within Fallout 3′s own interval. Why do you ask?

  11. Congratulations to id Software Bethesda and Zenimax on this stunning joining of forces.

For the fans this is like living in a perfect world where dreams come true in a imperfect world :D
