For those of you interested in attending QuakeCon, id’s put out a press release announcing a new location — the Gaylord Texan Resort and Covention Center — located north of Dallas. If you’re unfamiliar with QuakeCon, the event brings together thousands of gamers together to play against each other, see the newest technology in gaming, compete in tournaments, and more.
QuakeCon 2009 runs from August 13-16. While the venue has changed, the price of admission remains the same: free. Head to the official QuakeCon 2009 website for more details, and hopefully I’ll see you at the show.
