The Morrowind Diaries

Over the past two weeks, Rock, Paper, Shotgun Editor Alec Meer has provided readers with a journal of his day-by-day exploits in the world of The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind. His diaries begin with a two-part précis (part 1 and part 2), which set the stage and let folks know what user-created mods he’s using.

Since then, Alec has written six diary entries. You can find them below:

Won’t you join us in following his adventures?

  1. Ah, poor bloke – he’ll henceforth be known in modding circles as That Bloke That Said All Modders Were Male.

(Yes, I know he apologised via Twitter, but it was pretty funny – especially since in the same list he namechecked at least eight female modders. :D )

    Nice diary, though :)

  2. Entertaining attention keeping diary :D Interesting his reaction after the wizard fell from the sky. I never took that into consideration i just laugh and then check the body.

Thanks for the strength of humour :D

  3. That guy has fun… Inspired me to return to my latest save and explore the Bloodmoon again.

I’m not sure if I’ll ever have enough of TES…

PS Still, I’m waiting for part five :D

  4. I think that bethesda should do a remake of Morrowind just think about it free movement and the ability to swing vases around with the LB and the same graphics of Oblivion. Same quests, easter eggs (Peek utchoo), people, same armor design glass looked way better in morrowind, same weapons you know the works. and just imagine how great the landscape would be i wouldnt mind the wait. it would be worth it.

So what do you guys think about the idea?

  5. i been playing morrowind alot lately and i went to some cavern by mount doom. i got the mark of zenni-something and none of the shop people will sell to me ! how do i get rid of it? i relize this isn’t a place for questions but i don’t know who else to ask. oh yaa where are the boot;s of blinding speed too =) ?
