Very much hoping that this is much expanded, although Amazon is saying it’s only around 100 pages, which I really think would be too short to contain the awesomeness that is the art of Fallout 3. There’s obviously a demand for this since you’re publishing it commercially now in large-format at 8″ x 12.4″ (awesome!), but now the onus is to really make it what it should be.
Yes, this is going to be amazing, but will it be the definitive Fallout 3 art book? Will it give the attention that each section deserves, such as full-page images for the most spectacular art, a full section for art from each DLC, and including things like the subway ads, art from promo materials, all the in-game posters full-page, commentary from the artists, etc? That type of content is what not only the fans but the collectors of art books want. The art of Fallout 3 is truly extraordinary, and you’ll have art book collectors buying this book just because of the awesome art, even if they haven’t played the game.
