  1. Not that i will ever have the chance to go to any of the awsome conventions you have over there in the US, but this i Quakecon, not Beth- or Splash Damage con.

Serioulsy if you want the id fans to accept the fusion and not worry maybe you should let id events be id events, Bethsoft event be Bethsoft events and so forth.
I’m a big fan of both Bethesda and id, but you might want to keep them reasonably seperate like your parantcompany said thay would imagine it would be when the announcement went out that id would be no more (as an independant developer).

Not to complain to much, but think it over will you? :-)

  2. Thanks for the feedback. Keep in mind the title we’re working on with Splash Damage uses id Tech — not mention SD worked on the Enemy Territory games.

  3. hm forgot that, but still i don’t see the reason to promote Splash Damage games and get Bethsoft there. Don’t know how thrilled the id fans will be, but times will tell.

  4. DanishMIKI – you are acting as if id fans never played any games from other studios other than id.I bet there is crapload of players that are id fans and liked Fallout 3 and will be happy of its presence there.Same for Splash.

  5. Lol Poul I am aware that any serious gamers plays more than one game, but after seeing how much a lot of id fans have been whining about this purchase by Zenimax.
I just pointed out that it might work like a red cloth in front of them. Not that I’m saying that the whiners should have all the power, but it never hurt anyone to be considerate.
personally I’m I’ve mainly been playing Bethsoft games recently (if we are only talking those 3 studios) so it’s not like I’m one of those people. I just have the ability to se things from more than one side.

  6. The “Bethesda Game Studios’ fans will be excited to know that on Friday, Todd Howard will talk about our process for making games like Oblivion and Fallout ” got me overly excited. Please announce something about a TES in the works! >_<

  7. A great thing this be indeed! Bethesda at QUAKECON! I can see it now the monster beastiary of every Elder Scrolls game vs the genius intellect of John Carmack!
