What we’re watching: Heading to District 9

Later tonight, I’ll be heading to see District 9. Looking at the list below (and having seen others’ Facebook updates), I’m guessing that I’m one of the last at the office to see it.

In addition to District 9, find out the movies and shows are developers are watching below.

Max Cameron: District 9, Funny People, and catching up on How I Met Your Mother.

Andrew Scharf: Catching up on Breaking Bad, Mad Men, Dexter Season 3, and watching District 9 over the weekend.

Ryan Lea, Programmer: District 9 and Psych.

Matt Killmon, Video Producer: I keep watching the videos on this site over and over, and now my dreams are haunted and my soul tortured… and yet I cannot look away! Abandon all hope, ye who enter here!

Fred Zeleny, Generator of Lewd Acronyms and Narrative Design: The Mighty Boosh (imagine Flight of the Conchords/Tenacious D, except British and deeply surreal), Leverage (imagine a mix of the A-Team, Ocean’s 11, and a dash of Firefly), and just waiting for LOST to return.

Evan Miller: 30 Rock, District 9, and try to push Thirst — the new movie by the director of Oldboy. Highly recommended.

Aaron Mitschelen, QA: I’m yet to see evidence that I want TV reception of any kind, really.

Kevin Kauffman: Wanda Sykes at the Warner Theater. Defiance on DVD.

Sean Palomino: District 9 and Ponyo on the Cliff by the Sea.

Philip Glaser: TED Talks.

Dan Ross: Chappelle Show – Season 2, True Blood, Entourage and Gran Torino if Netflix ever sends it to me.

Ryan “New Guy” Jenkins: Extras, Coraline, and continuing my James Bond Project (next up is The Living Daylights).

Shane Liesegang, Master of All He Surveys: District 9, the old Conan the Adventurer cartoon show, and  football (even the preseason brings me joy).

Matt Grandstaff, Senior Community Manager: District 9 and Inglourious Basterds at the cinema. Catching up on Weeds, 30 Rock, Nurse Jackie, and Entourage.

  1. @ Andrew Scharf – Good choice on Dexter my friend… I am finishing up Season 2 then moving up to Season 3… Preparing and remembering for September!

BTW… Did you guys like District 9? Honestly I thought it was terrible… VERY bad IMO.

Yea i can understand that. I havent had cable since 2004. The only thing that gets me going are dvds and the craziness on the internet especially old time horror movie trailers :D

Just picked up George A.Romero’s DIARY OF THE DEAD so will probably be checking that out sometime tonight or on the weekend.
