Web Roundup: WET

Between press tours and the demo release, there’s new impressions up for WET. We start with Feed Your Console’s latest preview. Here’s an excerpt:

“The demo in total is only about 15 minute in length but it should give you a good idea of what to expect in the game and I can only assume there are plenty more stylish kills and more over the top action sequences. I’m unsure of what the story will entail, but it looks to be one of those games that just ends up being good old fashioned fun. I must admit that now that I’ve had the chance to play, I’m really looking forward to seeing what happens next.”

As you can see above, Joystiq caught up with Pete Hines to discuss the game. Watch the video, or simply read the transcript at their site. You can do either, but I think it’s more fun to see Pete talk about the game.

Last but not least, more previews can be found at Planet Xbox 360, Examiner, and 411 Mania.

  1. Looks full of violent fun and humour. My eyes popped out when i heard how close the release date was not next year but next month :D

Makes me wonder if Bethesda released TES V already and they’re seeing whose going to notice it on store shelves without any sort of advertising or release date.

  2. I’m still uncertain about this game based on the demo, it felt like Strangehold but with more polish and of course the grindhouse feel. Personally I came away with the idea that this game has a bunch of different buttons and features to remember while in combat, and I’ve never been a big fan of those kinds of games. It’s a great idea, I’ve never seen anything out there exactly like this. I’m sure if I played more of the game it’d probably grow on me. But right now I feel rather indifferent about it.
