Play! – a Videogame Symphony DVD/CD

PLAY_SYMPHONY_044.JPG

If you’ve visited Bethesda Blog over the past two years, you’ll know that we’ve periodically given updates on Play! – a Video Game Symphony. Over the years, the touring symphony has played music from both Morrowind and Oblivion.

For this reason, I thought I’d let you know that they have a live concert CD/DVD available for sale on Amazon (and iTunes, too), which includes a suite of music from Oblivion. The concert was performed by the Czech Philharmonic Chamber Orchestra & Kuehn’s Mixed Choir.

For full tracklisting after the break…

Tracks include…

  • Play! Opening Fanfare
  • Commodore 64-Medley
  • Castlevania
  • Sonic the Hedgehog
  • Crono Cross
  • Silent Hill 2
  • Halo
  • Kingdom Hearts
  • Battlefield
  • World of Warcraft
  • The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion
  • Guild Wars

  1. That looks great! I’m going to Videogames Live this December in Cardiff, which is more or less the same as this. :) Would be awesome to hear the Fallout 3 theme tune played in concert, or even some of the music from the first two games (which were fantastic).
