Fallout 3 wins Ultimate Game of the Year at the Golden Joysticks

The 27th Annual Golden Joystick Awards wrapped up a little while ago and Fallout 3 was announced the winner of the night’s final award: Ultimate Game of the Year. Earlier in the show Fallout 3 was named PC Game of the Year. Additionally, the game received runner up honors in both the Soundtrack of the Year and Xbox Game of the Year categories.

Congrats to the team for their hard work on the game, and a big thanks to everyone that voted for Fallout 3!

  1. Yeah congratulations Beth. Voted for you in all catagories I could, not counting PS3. Lets face it, there are things that could have been doen better on that front. Think you deserved more, but lets face it. Multiplayer giants does attract a larger crowd.

  2. While I’ll admit that Fallout 3 is a great game in its own right the actual build quality is frankly appalling for a Triple A title, especially on the PS3.

    Hopefully you guys learned all of the relevant lessons from whatever mistakes were made during the development of Fallout 3 and your next offering will be of the quality we have come to expect of big Triple A developers such as yourselves.
