G4TV.com has an exclusive look at Brink’s gameplay this week. Head here to watch Playing Smart, in which Game Director Paul Wedgwood explains the S.M.A.R.T system (that’s Smooth Movement Across Random Terrain). Stay tuned to G4TV.com today through Thursday for more videos.
There will be additional coverage on X-Play, too — starting tonight at 6:30 PM ET. Brink Week on X-Play continues on Wednesday and Thursday of this week. Check your local listings for more times.
The release date for Brink is, indeed, Fall 2010. That’s when the game will be ready for everyone to play. Hope everyone enjoys the videos we’ll be putting out this week for everyone that didn’t get to see the Brink demo at E3/PAX/QuakeCon/GamesCom/etc.
For more details on Brink, visit the game’s official site, as well as Splash Damages’ website.
Update: G4TV.com now has the segment shown on X-Play tonight. Watch it here.

I think we were all dissapointed when we saw the phrase World Premire, nowhere near the words Elder scrolls.
I still love all you 🙂
I was looking forward to this and when I saw this video my hopes plummeted. The movement looks SLOW while the view and the gun are bobbing like you’re running 100MPH. I hate when they do this due to small maps. They could at least increase the FOV. That’s the only thing that really adds to the speed perception.
@ Igloo: +1
Elder Scrolls for the win! The book kicks @$$ too, looking forward to TESV 😀
Don’t wanna sound like a prick, but, seriously you guys need to stop publishing these horrible games. This game looks mediocre at best, Rouge Warrior is just plain awful, Wet wasn’t that bad, not a purchase though just a short rent.
Please, get back to TES: V, and give us a screenshot.
That game will forever be known as ‘Rouge’ Warrior. lol
Very original.
@lhaymehr – seriously dude you wouldn’t know a good game if it came and bit you on the ass – check the other vids out before you judge this, it looks awesome, congrats Bethesda!
