Valentine’s Day is this weekend, and nothing’s more romantic than having your significant other watching you play video games. For the husbands, wives, girlfriends, and boyfriends out there…sorry. Sorry that most of us having been wrapped up in the character relationships in Mass Effect 2, Star Trek Online, and Bioshock 2. Maybe we can play a co-op game together?

Here’s what we’ll be playing if we don’t get in trouble with our better halves…

Daryl Brigner: Mass Effect 2 (PC), Crysis Warhead, S.T.A.L.K.E.R: Call of Pripyat, and Dragon Age: Origins (PC). Then again it is Valentine’s Weekend, so scratch all that.

Jason Bergman: Mass Effect 2 and Rock Band 2.

Pete Hines: Modern Warfare 2, Bioshock 2, Mass Effect 2, Uncharted 2, and Breakin’ 2: Electric Boogaloo.

Joe Owens: Mass Effect 2.

Peter Sokal: Hope to finish up my Mass Effect 2 Paragon run, then Ratchet & Clank: Tools of Destruction and Darksiders.

Gary Noonan: Divinity 2.

Emil Pagliarulo: Star Trek Online, Bioshock 2, and Mass Effect 2.

Brett Douville: Bioshock (what with the sequel being out, I felt like playing the original again) and Spirit Tracks, plus likely a ton of Dominion.

Aaron Mitschelen, QA: Dig Dug. Except with snow. And without a shovel, because I don’t have one. This isn’t looking good for my 2010 game of the year pick, really.

Michael Musick: Dante’s Infern-wait, nevermind, just beat it. On to Dragon Age (finally)!

Greg Hounsom: MAG & Unchartered 2.

Ricardo Gonzalez, LCARS Programmer: Lots and lots of Star Trek Online.

Ryan Salvatore: Lord of the Rings Online, Team Fortress 2, and maybe Civilization IV or Bioshock (1). What can I say, I’m a creature of habit.

Craig Lafferty: Bioshock 2.

Caedmon Somers: Mass Effect 2. Still.

Ray Lederer: Photoshop Paint Party Jamboree. Diaper Change-o-Thon. Snowpocalypse Shoveller 3D.

Alistair Hatch: Batman: AA – It’s been sat on my shelf waiting for a rainy day to play and I’ve finally got around to playing it. So far I’ve been really impressed with the level of polish and the fighting mechanics; reminds me of Final Fight. I’ll also be playing Trials HD to make sure I’m beating certain friends of mine on the leaderboards and Bioshock 2 is certain to get some time in the disc drive as well.

Jon DeVriendt: BioShock 2, Battlefield Bad Company 2 Beta, Command & Conquer 4 Beta, and StarCraft (WTB StarCraft II beta key please!).

Dan Ross: Gonna install this copy of Mechwarrior 4 I found. Giant robot time!

Michael Wagner: Mass Effect 2.

Jeff Senita: Scribblenauts.

Jen Tonon, QA: Fable 2, Left 4 Dead 2, World of Warcraft (It’s only taken me six years to finally catch up to the level cap… Don’t hate; I have a life.), 1 vs 100 Live.

Michael Lattanzia: Entropia Universe, White Knight Chronicles, Mount and Blade (I love Steam deals), Borderlands, and painting some Malifaux miniatures.

Ashley Cheng: Mass Effect 2, Madden 2010 online franchise, online basketball, and Tiger Woods Online.

Nick Breckon: BioShock 2, and replaying Mass Effect 1 + 2.

Sean Palomino: Mass Effect, Mortal Kombat 3 Ultimate, and TMNT Turtles in Time.

Greg Ruddick: Mass Effect 2, BioShock 2, and Wolfenstein RPG (iPhone).

Matt Grandstaff: Bioshock 2, DOOM II RPG, and the Heavy Rain demo.

Nate Purkeypile: S.T.A.L.K.E.R: Call of Pripyat and Mass Effect 2. Again.

Ryan Ashford: League of Legends.

  1. Mass Effect 2… again. It’s just so addictive that I can’t help but start it up again. Then there’s the DLC to try out…

  2. [Gary Noonan: Divinity 2.]

Loved DIVINE DIVINITY especially all the cleavage in the taverns and enjoyed the grim disturbing atmosphere of BEYOND DIVINITY. Will have to check out some reviews and updates to see if D2 has held up well enough to purchase.

At the moment am playing alot of FALLOUT 3 and enjoying immensely the Firestorm Over Kronus 3.5 mod for WARHAMMER DAWN OF WAR. Also squeezing in some LEFT4DEAD 2 though things like lunch and dinner keep getting in the way of completing the current carnival level.

  3. [How many of you guys actually play the games you say you will? I ended up playing Morrowind in the end. Ahhh … that game never gets old.

:D Ha ha yea that happens sometimes hee hee.

Right now about to install EMPIRE EARTH III and enjoy that for awhile eventhough its one of those games i play just for fun and the visuals since it wasnt as good as the previous ones. Also about to start a new character in TWO WORLDS after leaving that alone on the shelf for about a year. Am the type who keeps the games i buy so once i get bored they usually get put away til a bunch of months years? later. No such luck of that ever happening with a Bethesda game :D

  4. @Princess Stomper: I usually do play the games that I want to play. Those mentioned here… mostly. If it happens that I don’t play that game then either I’ve found something that I didn’t like about it or something else caught my attention.
