Many folks from our office — including Nick, Pete (featured today in an E3 NYT article), and I — will be heading to Los Angeles this weekend in preparation for E3. While we’ll be focused on helping everyone see what we’ve got for Brink, Fallout: New Vegas, Hunted: The Demon’s Forge, and RAGE, we’ll definitely be keeping our eyes peeled for all the cool stuff being shown by other publishers and developers.
As such, I decided to ask folks at the office what they are anticipating as E3 2010 approaches…
Michael Musick: Mass Effect 3, Dead Space 2, Crysis 2, Medal of Honor, Rock Band 3, X-COM, Star Wars: TOR, The Last Guardian and of course everything on the Zenimax roster!
Dennis Mejillones: Very interested seeing what Natal can do. I’m also looking forward to mainly Little Big Planet 2 and then Dead Rising 2, Dead Space 2 and hopefully The Last Guardian. I also hope they announce an enhanced release of Shadow of the Collosus and Ico on PS3.
Orin Tresnjak: LittleBigPlanet 2 and Super Scribblenauts, whatever Nintendo has up their sleeve, and the Bethesda-published stuff: Brink, RAGE, Hunted, and New Vegas.
Jon DeVriendt: Being there in person for the first time, Medal of Honor multiplayer, Crysis 2, whatever Valve is working on, SWOTR, Natal, and meeting Fedor Emelianenko.
Max Cameron: Bulletstorm, FFXIV, Halo: Reach, inFamous 2, and LittleBigPlanet 2.
Alec Ahearn: Hoping to see more of LittleBigPlanet 2, The Last Guardian, Metal Gear Solid Rising, COD: Black Ops, Dead Space 2, the new Medal of Honor, Killzone 3, FFXIV and FFXII Versus, and anything Kingdom Hearts. I also want to see more of Natal and Playstation Move, and this rumored PSP phone. And new titles of course!
Pete Hines: The part where it’s over.
Rob Bartholomew: Oh god, it’s got to be Deus Ex.
Nicholas Heller: Gears of War 3, 3D content, and Natal
Craig Lafferty: Really, really want announcements for New SSX and Half-Life games. Come on already!
Ken Barner: Bethesda’s booth (which’ll kickass), Blizzard’s booth (not WoW but SC2 and D3), new cool game announcements, Q&A panels with developers, and booth babes.
Matt Ponton: Seeing how Microsoft works with Natal, Rock Band 3, and hopeful for Dead or Alive 5 and Beyond Good & Evil 2
Alistair Hatch: Nintendo 3DS.
Jeff Senita: The Last Guardian, Half-Life Episode 3, Portal 2 & other Valve announcements, New Nintendo flagship titles (or another Pikmin maybe?), and if any upcoming iPhone games get some attention.
Ian Rogers: Rockband 3 and Deus Ex: Human Revolution.
Brent Krische: Keynotes, cool booths, and hopefully hearing more details on Gears of War 3 and Mortal Kombat 9.
Cory Dornbusch: Deus EX, Natal, and Homefront.
Andy Chang: I wonder what Tomonobu Itagaki will be announcing. Ninja Gaiden Bikini Volleyball? Pre-order!
Allan Jaffee: New Zelda announcement, Sony’s updates for PSN and whether it will be pay-2-play, rumor of a new Killer Instinct, Sony’s 3D demos, More info on PS3 Move, and Xbox’s Natal Demos.
Joe Mueller: Hoping for Versus or KH3 announcement, seeing Natal, geeking out at the rest of E3.
Michael Lattanzia: Rock Band 3… and hoping Capcom announces something else Monster Hunter related.
Rick Vicens: Hope to see new footage from The Last Guardian.
Laffy Taylor: Dead Space 2.
George Churchill: Demon’s Souls 2 and Dead Space 2
Nate Purkeypile: Anything from Valve. Deus Ex 3.
Jason Bergman: Rock Band 3 (KEYBOARDS!!!), Epic Mickey and The Last Guardian.
Shannon Bailey: Hoping for an announcement about Persona 5.
Matt Grandstaff: After a crash course in Mass Effect 1&2, I’m already dying for #3. Also looking for to seeing Natal in action (and going to the party), Bulletstorm, Metal Gear: Rising, and whatever Valve and Nintendo are showing.

[ Pete Hines: The part where it’s over. ]
And even that will be a scary slow down into normality for a super sonic super nova of godly hyping advertising energy such as yourself high quality beyone octane Mr.Hines
If I was there, I’d be keeping an eye out for…
Deus Ex 3, Thief 4, Gears of War 3, Two Worlds 2, Half Life 2: Episode 3 and any clue about TES:V.
Another PS3 price cut, PS3 3D tech, PS Move. As for the games I want to see more on RAGE, Deus Ex: Human Revolution, Thief 4, Killzone 3, new Mortal Kombat and… hopefully TESV.
Yes thats one fantastic epic line up of games. This is gonna be one hot E3 show this year with so many by Bethesda they could call it BETHESDA E3.
If i was there games that would interest me are FALLOUT: NEW VEGAS, RAGE, TWO WORLDS 2, DEAD SPACE 2, HALF LIFE EPISODE 3, X-COM, DIABLO 3, STARCRAFT 2, MASS EFFECT 3, GEARS OF WAR 3 eventhough i dont play consoles its always good to see the technology which usually bleeds off to other systems especially when coming from the creators of UNREAL
Oh also any news on TES V and that much talked about secret annoucement.
Ya any tes v news will do please we,ve been waiting for a long time
TES V only
TES:V would be cool, but I’m looking forward to New Vegas.
How about a little TESV info? The whole world is begging for it.
Don’t get me wrong, New Vegas is at the top of my want list. However, you need to address the game sitting in my number two spot. TES nao plxkthx.
The Elder Scrolls 5. I think that is all that needs to be said
The new Zelda, any Nintendo surprises, and I am still holding onto hope for The Elder Scrolls. Seriously, last year Nintendo showed a single piece of concept art for the new Zelda and said “we’ll show it for real next year.” Bethesda could do the same, and it would satisfy a lot of people.
I’m on the bandwagon for this one….
It’s funny… you guys could post an entry on “How to mix mortar properly” and it would be warped into some sort of secret Elder Scrolls announcement….
Speaking of which, is there any news on that second book? Or is that a Bethesda-cult secret?
I’ll be looking forward to you guys FINALLY announcing The Elder Scrolls V after four years. Four very long years. I know you’re not gonna disappoint me…
“The part where it’s over” LMAO It’s ok Pete, breathe deeply, let’s all send some good mojo in that direction! Like all the rest of the ES fanatics I’m holding my breath, besides that I’m really interested in SWTOR and of course everything announced by Bethesda.
All I want is acknowledgment that TES V is in development, and maybe a teaser trailer.
It has been four years since Oblivion was released. I’ve been waiting, wishing, hoping for a TES V announcement every day of those four years. And what a long four years it has been…
But I know the waiting is over. TES V will be announced at E3 2010. If it’s not, Bethesda will have an angry mob on their hands…
Don’t disappoint us Bethesda. We are the ones who put the money in your pockets. Give your loyal fans what they want. We deserve a TES V announcement. We’ve waited long enough.
Well like pretty much every other comment I want TES:V
Sorry to rip on Fallout, but Fallout 3 was a disgrace for the time period where you could have been working on TES V and making it perfect. Way to go, guys. Way to make a mediocre game that I enjoyed for no more than ten hours of gameplay, whereas Morrowind has lasted me well over 200.
Does any one know what time Wednesday Bethesda e3 spot is becouse I want to watch it and in the e3 scudule it has some tba spots on it just want to know witch one is Bethesda
@ Phil:

Same here. I’ve been searching for any info on this, and haven’t been able to find any… only Sony and Nintendo propaganda
I made the trip down to E3 this year. I was looking forward to checking out Bethesda’s booth and seeing Brink, New Vegas, Rage and the rest of the games on display.
However, I was very disappointed to find out today that the Bethesda booth is media only.
