We’re back with the fourth video diary for Fallout: New Vegas. This time around, the developers at Obsidian Entertainment discuss how factions impact your adventures in the Mojave Wasteland. The video includes background details on the game’s three major factions — the New California Republic, Caesar’s Legion, and Mr. House.

there going to be a small faction but still the best by far ^-^ hope there will be loads of new and old power armour in this game!!!!!

very cool, lots of in-game footage. can’t wait to play it on my PC with proper lighting, shadows, and draw distance! FO3 looked pretty damn good on “ultra”, so i’m really anxious to see what tweaks have been made to the engine. also, i’d love some RAGE-style megahuge renders…
jeeze, your offices must be huge if they can encompass a desert landscape! hope the custodians are well-paid – it’s gotta be worth battling geckos just to empty a trash can.
Hmmm…. It looks like they recycled the John Henry Eden Idea for Mr. House, I hope not. it wouldn’t be to original.

No if you seen other videos, Mr House is ‘supposably’ a real guy who locked himself up in his casino and no one has seen him in years… The player is going to be the first one to visit Mr House.
So is there a possibility of the player turning into basically their own faction, taking over all of the other factions and basically running New Vegas/The Mojave Wasteland? Cause that would be cool.
Is there going to be weather changes in this game?
@Turbophoenix that’s what i took away from it. you can have your “NCR playthrough”, your “Caesar’s playthrough”, your “strip playthrough”, or your “shoot everyone in the face playthrough”.
i’m looking forward to all 4! did like 3 FO3 chars, including 2 to 30, so why not?
