I can’t wait to read about Skyrim, all i know about it is that its the land of the Nords and about 3/4 of its Terrain is mountains. Its also has a strong alliance with Cyrodiil so we will maybe see alot of Imperial soldiers once again.

  3. Fantastic to know that once more the MAN GOD known as TODD HOWARD is at the helm of another glorious creation of THE ELDER SCROLLS. Talk about busy busy along with the other masters of dreams at Bethesda. Congratulations to all.

  10. TESV? Simply AWESOME!!! I have a lot of expectation about this game. But i want to ask one thing: this brand new spectacular engine will be limited from the hardware’s limitations of the currents console platforms? I think that the elderscrolls’s saga deserve the best technology as possible. So the question is: the game will be out at almost the end of the next year. Is not better that you focus to the optimization for the PC hardware and, later, make a port to the nextgen console hardware coming in 2012? I really really hope that this policy to make the game running on the current VERY OLD hardware will not ruin anything! I think that it’s really the time to looking ahead, leaving behind all of the past technologies.

  11. “I am jack’s total lack of surprise.” I’ve known all along what was to come and I seriously doubt I’ll be very surprised at the game’s features either. Oh well, I guess when you live with someone for so many years they become quite predictable.

Thanks for living up to all the hype we hardcore fans have spread out across the web trying to convince others what we already know: That Bethesda is the best and will remain so for the foreseeable future.

And thanks also for the fantastic timing, just in case there is any validity to 2012, I’ll have at least had a good last year of gaming entertainment before the world implodes.

    Long Live The BGMC,

    Worm

  12. i can’t wait but i really hope the questing is more like oblivions and less like fallouts. also i hate the idea of co-op gameplay in and elder scrolls game however there should be an arena mode that allows you to fight against other players with stock armor and weapons (no player made OP or enchanted ones)

  13. I know you want to release it in January – but please don’t pull a Fallout New Vegas move on us and screw up the Elder Scrolls (Oblivion was bad enough – good game, bad glitches). Remember your working with EPIC and POPULAR games, not reviving old 16 bit platformers that nobody remembers…

  14. I’ll judge when there is more to read or look at so far its just Bethesda spreading bon fires for something that won’t be released for a year. The company has a history of creating hype, they make good games I won’t argue that but not all their jazz lives up to the hype.

  15. god i cant wait for skyrim. its gonna be the greatest game of all time.(at least until they make a 6). though one thing i hope they change or bring back or whatever is being able to use spears and attack with staffs. i hated them in oblivion. also id like to see a levatation spell and some new destruction spells. that would be great. my arsonal on oblivion always felt so limited.
