Let’s get this RAGE party started!

On Friday night, we celebrated the upcoming release of RAGE in Los Angeles with team members from id Software & Bethesda, The Black Keys (they rocked), and celebrity gamers that showed up to play the game early. Check out pics above!

For everyone else in North America, the RAGE party gets started in just a few hours. While you wait for midnight, be sure to read EGM Now’s review for the game. Here’s an excerpt from their review, where they scored the game at 9.5/10!

“All things considered, Rage is one hell of an experience. It would be easy to knock this game for some of the elements it lacks, but what is here in is easily on par with some of the best titles in the genre. If you’re a fan of FPS gaming and the kids at id, you won’t be sorry you picked this one up.”

Elsewhere, get a head start on learning the ins and outs of RAGE’s in-game card game, RAGE Frenzy, in a new feature at Kotaku.

  1. Someone at id should head over to the Steam forum page for Rage – lots of people with the same screen tearing issue that I have.

  2. What’s with all the celebrities? My brain hurts from the association with Snoop and Captain America.
Things don’t seem to be going well.

  3. This is, unfortunately, a terrible launch and seemingly, IP overall (moreso for PC users). Older pc gamers who have fond memories of id software’s IP’s from the early days and new gamers alike will be sadly disappointed.
