Update: Received news from Prima that the guide is only available in the US.

So true^^ !!
Does this work in the uk, because the link doesn’t work and I can’t find it on the app store
Great, so no android or uk support?? Nice one :p
Just putting in my 2 cents about the app not being on Android…
Great idea though.
Extracting map data for 15 min. On an iPhone 4. I’m gonna try reinstalling.
I really want this app but it ain’t available in my country.
“Your request could not be completed”
Phhht, release something supposedly great then be denied it.
Bet it’d work on android
Only available in US??!! I say GRRR!!
Waaaayyyyy more of us with Android phones. Come on Prima, most of us are not iKiddies.
…. make a version of this for PC, please?
Not everyone has an iPhone or iPad. Heck, not everyone has ANY sort of smartphone or tablet.
Closest I get, is the Nook Color.
Again with the i systems and no android systems, over 10,000 players have turned this gbame in due to its lack of dlc and lost of interest. Due to its designers who awaste of re now becoming lazy and not giving us (the customers) what we want when we need it. Very few customers are going to pay for this i app when we have the skyrim wiki page. It seems like a big waste of bethesteda and primas time to make this app instead of the dlc that over 20,000 gamers are waiting for. This app is a big dissapointment too many.
You must be one of the console gamers that think a game is finshed when your done with the main story.
Skyrim dose not need DLC. Beth will make it, yeah, but it dise not really need it. It is a MASSIVE game. DLC is for short stupied games like MW3 or Halo.
At any rate, PC gamers wont need DLC for ages, if not at all. Why? Well, we have this think called MODS.
PC gamers are the winers here I think. Even with the stupied 2 month exlusize DLC thing the 360 has. lol.
I do agree with you on the android thing. i devises are restricvie, like consoles, and should not be touched.

We need this on Android!
Blegh! Who wants a handbook/roadmap to tell you how to play a brilliant game like Skyrim?
Talk about reducing an organic gaming experience to a shopping checklist!
Not as big of a deal as you hoped people.
It unlock anything on the App beyond where the capitals for the Holds are require you to pay money.
To fully unlock the App’s features would require at least 20 to 30 dollars.
Think of it as more of an interactive strategy guild for people who never heard of Wikis.
Also, the App crashed a lot and would not sync with servers. But that could be seeing everyone is checking it out.
I do feel the way this article is written is misleading seeing virtually all the features they list are paid features.
In the free version, the only realfeatures is: “Place a pin of the map” and “Show capitals of the Holds”. Everything else is $0.99 a pop
You can unlock all items for $9.99………
30 ducks for the app??? :O
No frickin thanks :S
Hey I am a huge fan of the elderscrolls series and I had been waiting for an app like this! I have collector’s edition of Skyrim, however I live in Mexico does that mean I can’t get it? There is a bunch of us down here that would greatly appreciate this.
You guys should publish your own map app, that can sync with the in game version to show markers.
US only limitation is a joke.
Finally, jeez. Now that I’m 112 hours into the game, this is of little help. Althought with the ridiculous way they’re nickel-and-dining every little piece of info (multiple sets to purchase FOR EACH HOLD), I wouldn’t have used it anyways, even if it came out on day 1. Dragon Shout app is the way to go.
I really wish you guys elected to go with a Google Maps API driven map for the Skyrim guide rather than letting Prima use their own system. The map is a pain in the arse to use. Loads incredibly slowly. Plus, almost unusable in the Steam in-game browser. The ones that the UESP made for Oblivion and Morrowind using the Google Maps API are far better.
Come on guys! don’t forget android!! its getting more popular everyday!
It doesn’t even work
@Nthnnhll, what type of issue are you experiencing?
Apparently, the nice people from Bethesda are reading these comments. Could we get an official reply why it’s not available to people outside of the US, or to non-iOS users, mainly Android? It obviously is making a lot of people feel excluded when they are left out seemingly on purpose.
I’ve shared the feedback of Android users with Prima. If there’s any news to share, we’ll let you guys know.
WTF … do you think you only have US customers????
Absolutely disgusted that this is US only, in this day and age locking everyone else out is ridiculous!
Please let’s think to people outside the US.. And we don’t need any translation of this app, we can speak English very well you know (: I’d love to get this app, on the French app store?
Or just go to UESP and use their non-commercial map.
Really….only iOS and only US. Way to make 80% of all your fans feel excluded.
@Entoris — sorry, Prima let us know they’re only allowed to release in North America.
Cool, a tiny map on which to mark all the bugged quests…
Great, now that the last update renders skyrim unplayable on the PS3, the app is only for americans. Greatest marketing stunt ever- you lost a true devotee. I mean i could have lived with not earning dragonshouts even after 3 updates and confirmed bug reports, but this is pathetic
i would love it if the next starwars game was made by bethesda and lucas arts working together im asking the game makers if the will consider it because the storylines quests and gameplay would be amazing please look into it!
If folks have run into any issues with their in-app map purchases, please refer to this forum post on Prima’s site

Has anyone else noticed that if you use dungeon maps for dungeons with more than one part, the map only shows one part, rather than all of the dungeon. Is there a fix?
