  1. I will not waste my money as in 2011, to attend our “heroes” and then break the face with recicled garbage. Is time to separate pure marketing from good entertainment. Of course for fanboys don’t matter… sorry, the classification for this specie is “hardcore fans”.

Sorry Bethesda… 120$ for both games (Rage & Skyrim) after my brain washed in Quakecon 2011. You really screwed my 2012 start.

    • You love them?

They promised you mod tools and 64 bit Rage and failed to deliver.

They promised you mods for Skyrim and still have not fixed the NAvmesh bug so we can make the good ones.

They promised you an RPG and delivered a straight hack and slash action game without any semblance of RPG.

They promised you immersion and delivered idiotic AI, terrible companions who block doorways, and horrible bugs with patches that break more than they fix.

Tell me, what is to love?

      • Companions who block doorways. I’ve yet to encounter this (180+ hours of playing time spent between 2 characters). Sure, they occasionally stand in the way, but if you walk into them for just over 1 second they’ll actually move out of your way.

        • That you are ok with having to stampede your companions out of the way speaks volumes about how far gaming has fallen. This is not ok; its called following distance, better, ai. The problem is terrible design.

  2. If we come to Quake Con, can we get mod tools and 64 bit exe for Rage? You know, like we were promised? Because, based on promises made before I bought the game I still do not have the product I paid for, in its entirety.

Also…how bout that Skyrim Navmesh? And while you are at it, you could also patch it in the Fallout games. You know, make them work as they are supposed to work and all.

    • you still play RAGE? The broken promise in the end is about the “best game already done”.
I heard and saw a lot of lies in the QuakeCon 2011, i will not give more money to fund a group who basicaly live from the past, thinking they are rule. Useful information about the fate of all money get? nope! Doom 4? just waiting for the best game.. using rocket science.. ads by google.

  3. I still love both Bethesda and id, as I feel they provide some of the top games. Sure they haven’t lived up to your expectations, but in my opinion the games were great, and are enjoyable without the extra stuff. I may not be a big gamer so I don’t find the extra stuff as important, but I think the games are still enjoyable by everyone.

  4. About Skyrim, i prefer waiting for a huge DLC and huge updates. Quakecon? no more! is just a fake reunion, soulless, to sell at any cost. Bethesda is the best thing ever happen for this crap convention.
