A nameless Dunmer needs your help

This is the story of a young and powerful Dark Elf, who is also an up-and-coming member of the Mages Guild.  He, along with the very best of his peers, was hand-selected by Mages Guild leader and founder Vanus Galerion to accompany you in the assault on Cold Harbor. When the mass portal to Cold Harbor went awry, these formidable Mages Guild members arrived, scattered over the icy wasteland of Molag Bal’s realm. Separated from their allies and you, their partner, the group was captured and imprisoned by Molag Bal’s Daedric army for use in torturous live training exercises.

The young Dark Elf is trapped in a cage with his fellow Mages Guild members. The imprisoned group is plotting an escape, but one, small thing is missing.

    on a sidenote, how come Bethesda never re-released the HD textures to fix the purple stump in Riften and the otherworldly red flaming logs? I know it’s been fixed via mods but it woukd be nice if they just fixed the entire pack, especially since they were aware of the issues and “working on it” a few days after it was released :P

  13. Is there an elvish name roughly meaning “nameless” or “unknown”? I think it’d be clever for him to actually not have a name that he knows of, and to have him use that moniker to refer to himself instead. You could even work it into his backstory or something.

  18. What? COLD HARBOR? ARE THEY CRAZY!? Even the Hunting Grounds would have been wiser! Hircine’ll just run you into the ground and kill you, but Molag Bal… He’s the Lord of Domination. If you’re going to confront a Daedric Prince in his own realm- which inherently carries the risk of failure- YOU DO NOT CONFRONT THE LORD OF TORTURE.

    Couldn’t they have settled for the Colored Rooms?

    Maybe if Bethesda actually considered PS3 as a viable platform for Skyrim we wouldn’t feel the need to complain. Posting articles on the Bethblog just adds insult to injury quite frankly, whilst there’s MUCH work to be done on fixing the PS3 version of Skyrim. I think Bethesda’s energies could be diverted elsewhere, instead of making blog posts is all I’m saying…

  20. Question: I’m Australian, so obviously I can’t win, but would my entry be eligible if I waived my rights to the actual physical prizes? All I really wanna do is name the Dunmer.

    Or better yet, would you consider a future naming contest open to the rest of the world, if the only prize was just getting the name? No posters, no t-shirts, just the name.
