  1. Are you going to continue to patch the game? Lots of quests and other things still broken and well documented in your support forums.

  2. If you already have the original Skyrim with ‘no’ downloaded patches installed,do you have to delete the ‘game data utility’ on your PS3,before you insert the new Skyrim Legendary Disc.I gather games saved on’saved Data utility’ will work with the Legendary edition. And are the 3 DLC’S on the same disc or a seperate one. Thanks

  3. Thought you guys said there’d be a steam sale on the DLC soon for those of us who already own the vanilla but were unable to download the add-on content. Seems a little unfair to make the early folks that bought the game early on (or at launch) pay more than those folks now just joining the party.

    • well most award winning games with few but amazing, large and awesome dlcs serve out a GOTY or something or other edition, with skyrim it wasn’t really a surprise or anything to complain about…however…there is something sort of new…as far as I know all the patches are built into the disk…not to sure about the dlcs…but I do know that with all the patches built in the game will run a bit smoother and less glitchy

      • Every GOTY edition had all the DLC and patches since Fallout 3. Oblivion and Morrowind had the DLC and patches only, but not the add-ons. There were add-ons that were never released on the Xbox for Morrowind that you could only get online. If I remember right, the PC Oblivion GOTY comes with everything but Fighters Stronghold. I lost my original cases for KotN and Oblivion, so I had to get that.

        • Skyrim Legendary has all game patches built in,and added features like combat cameras, mounted combat, Legendary difficulty mode for hardcore players, and Legendary skills – enabling you to master every perk and level up your skills infinitely. It also includes all 3 DLC’S(Dawngurad,Hearthfire &Dragonborn).

        • The Oblivion GOTY was re-realesed on PC with a deluxe edition. That had the DLC, otherwise you just get Knights of the Nine and Shivering Isles.

    • This is the opposite of milking consumers. Bethesda is one of the few publishers which is decent enough to release DLC in an on-disc format. If not for that, people like myself who have no means of getting high speed internet would never be able to experience this content.

  4. Does Microsoft know this doesn’t have anything on it that’s timed exclusive for 360? If not, you guys are gonna be in deep poo, you know.

  5. Perhaps this isn’t the place to ask this… but does this mean there will be no more official new content for Skyrim? Or are there still more DLC/expansions on the way? I’m really hoping for the latter. As much as Dawnguard and Dragonborn and, to an extent, Hearthfire, are awesome, somehow I feel like it just isn’t enough yet.

  6. A month ago, that was AFTER Hines announced a couple more “meaty” dlc, which was AFTER Hearthfire. We were jipped, likely because of ps3 issues.

  7. Oh yeah gstaff, we all recall that post, it replaced the announcement of the final dlc we were supposed to get. Mind you, it wasn’t surprising considering the ps3 fiasco.

  8. Is there a reason you felt it necessary to delete my question regarding the dlc sale on steam you guys mentioned about a month ago? I’m just wondering if that’s still going to happen or not.

    • There’s a small backlog of questions that haven’t been approved yet. I just went ahead and approved yours (we need to filter because of profanity, flaming, etc.)

To answer your question, we do Steam sales now and then, so it wouldn’t be surprising to see another sale soon.

      • Alright thanks. Just felt a tad put off when it looked deleted.

But thanks, that’d be nice. I bought the game for two platforms early on, could only afford DLC for one of them, but now would really like to purchase the DLC for pc without having to pay extra.

        • I sent an email to Bethesda asking a question about the DLC and I threw in my reasoning for why they should have a Steam sale sooner rather than later (primarily being that Steam is the only platform that has not had a 50% off sale that affected Dragonborn yet). Of course I sent that email and got a response (passed sale idea on to proper department) before seeing this post that the European legendary version wasn’t available until Friday June 7, so I’m expecting that Bethesda was waiting until then to do a sale. Of course, you would have expected the Skyrim sale to follow immediately after the Morrowind (Sat. June 1) and Oblivion (Sun. June 2) sales, but that didn’t happen.

  9. So I have Skyrim for the Xbox 360. Saw a promo for this at Gamestop, and I was wondering if you need Xbox Live to redeem these expansions, or can you just download it to the hard drive from the disc? I don’t have an internet connection at my house so Xbox Live/DLC is always out of the question.

  10. I am a big fan of the game. i put off my other games just to play out my four characters (a Redguard, an Altimer, an Orismer, and a Bosmer). I feel the game is missing something. It should have ended with a DLC that makes the player character high King of Skyrim.

  11. Can somone let me know if my saved data approx 30hrs from the origional skyrim will work on the legendary edition. I dont want to buy it and find out I have to start again. My origional disk broke so I decided to wait for legendary to continue.

  12. Xbox one is coming! You should have waited and kept doing skyrim Dlc and patches and then stoped. Like the Serana one
