I’m really fed up with this game ever since day one I have had problems with the services and here it is Sunday night technically Monday morning and it’s been the worst I’ve played this game for maybe 12 hours total due to the fact because of their servers keep constantly kicking you off its like you’re better off keeping your system on and staying in the game just to make sure you’re able to play it the next day! seriously this is very sad I’m pretty sure a lot of other people have had this problem and that’s not the only issue with this game the fighting in this game totally sucks compared to their last game. The laws of physics don’t make any sense, how do you go swing a sword from the left to the right and having an enemy fall forward and die??? and one other thing or two might I add the lock picking in this game is confusing why the hell are you timed on picking locks now? and when you go into a area to clear it out of enemies they just constantly keep responding so you can ever get some time to even searched the area and when you finally do find some time to search that area someone else in the game from online already went through the treasure chest, cabinets, and bookshelves and already taken all the loot and items. So all that hard work for nothing just to find out someone else has taken your items it’s pretty ridiculous to say the least I’m disappointed in Bethesda. I only say this because I’ve bought many of their previous titles like Oblivion, fallout, and Skyrim. So I know what they’re capable of doing and why they went this direction with this game is beyond me if I was to rate this game I’d give it at best of 3.5 out of 10
Actually, Urns, Crates, Sacks, Backpacks, Cabinets, Bookshelves etc etc are all Instanced, meaning they are for YOU ONLY, and they regenerate when you log in and out.
It is only Chests, Heavy Sacks, and Crafting items that are world.
To me it sounds like you are not a person who likes to play with others… more of a solo guy. which is fine… but you miss some aspects of the MMO
1) The fact that anyone at anytime can collect that chest, or mine that iron… means that when you do finally see one, and no one else is there… it is like HELL YEAH!
2) The fact that there are some players who camp the regular spawning points for Chests and Materials… that it encourages you to EXPLORE and Enjoy the world and it’s beauty… which is a big part of the Elder Scrolls appeal.
3) They have HIDE for a reason, and it is possible to get past each and every area to collect chests and materials. If you don’t like fighting always, then take it to a stealth exploration game.
Elder scrolls is an openworld and unrestricted gameplay… meaning each person can and does play the game differently.
If you don’t like how something is happening, then find a way to adjust and make it work.
