If you haven’t had a chance to give id Software’s latest a go, step right up and sit down with the RAGE demo, now available on Xbox Live.
The demo presents a slice of the early game, giving players a chance to explore the town of Wellspring and participate in races, games and other attractions. When you’ve had your fill there, you can head out to deal with some Ghost Clan raiders. Shooting might be involved.
If you’re a PS3 gamer, the PlayStation 3 demo will be available on December 6.
Back in February, we threw down a challenge: if anyone delivered a child on 11.11.11 and named him/her Dovahkiin, we would provide free Bethesda games for life.
Today we congratulate proud parents Megan and Eric Kellermeyer for completing the quest. As noted on their webcomic site (and documents shared with us), Megan gave birth to Dovahkiin Tom Kellermeyer last Friday at 6:08 pm PST.
Be it the real world or the game worlds we create, we wish young Dovahkiin the best in all his adventures. And if Alduin ever reaches this realm, we’ll be in touch.
All Roads waswritten by Chris Avellone, the game’s creative director, and created in conjunction with Dark Horse Comics. With cover art created by legendary illustrator and comic book artist Geof Darrow with colors by Peter Doherty, the graphic novel also features art by Jean Diaz (Incorruptible) and Wellinton Alves (Marvel’s Shadowland: Blood on the Streets, Nova).
We’re close to releasing a comprehensive update for Brink, bringing full clan support, ladders and tournaments to all versions of the game. This update is currently in the final stages of testing and will be pushed out to the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and the PC version of Brink as soon as that is complete.
Since there’s a whole bunch of new stuff headed your way in this update, we thought we’d give you a sneak peek of the goodness that awaits you:
Relive 11.11.11 with launch photos from around the globe — in London, Helsinki, Milan, and even Maryland. Both before midnight and at lunch time the next day, members of Bethesda Game Studios visited our local GameStop in Rockville. Pictured above (clockwise from left) are Craig Lafferty, Dave Schreiber, Tim Lamb, and Mark Lampert.
