10 years ago this week, we released the PC version of the The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind. While I was still a senior in college at the time, I remember it being a monumental release, and I was envious of PC gamers playing it before it released on Xbox. In the five years I’ve been working at Bethesda, I’ve learned to appreciate the game even more. The game was vital our company, and allowed us to continue the series with Oblivion and Skyrim.
It never ceases to amaze me how strong Morrowind’s community remains. The modding community continues to push the game to its limits and Morrowind will always be the sentimental favorite for longtime fans.

We’re pleased to announce a content update for Pro and Premium subscribers to QUAKE LIVE, id Software’s browser-based free-to-play first person shooter, with the addition of the Premium Pak 12. With this update, Pro Start-a-Match players get five new game modes, a new Start-a-Match interface that offers in-depth match customization options, more than 200 customization settings, and four new premium arenas. The Premium Pak 12 update is available at quakelive.com.
In addition, all QUAKE LIVE premium content will be free beginning today through Sunday, May 6th. During this Free Premium Week, new Premium and Pro subscribers will receive one or two free two-week Pro Subscription Tokens which can be redeemed to extend their subscription or gifted to a friend.

In the past few weeks, members of Arkane have traveled to New York, LA, and across Europe to show off new areas in Dishonored. In an interview with Japanese magazine Famitsu, Tango Gameworks executive producer Shinji Mikami announced that the studio’s first project, codenamed “Zwei”, will return Mikami-san (the creator of Resident Evil) to the survival-horror genre.
Here’s the official statement posted on Tango’s website.
Our latest project’s codename is “Zwei” and it is a survival horror game.
