It’s been a few months since we last featured Fan Art from the blog, so when I received this homage to the Adoring Fan from Raven Hall, I couldn’t resist sharing it.
If you haven’t checked out the Fan Art section on Bethblog, it’s over on the right column of the blog. As always, if you’ve got fan art to share with us (whether it’s Star Trek, The Elder Scrolls, Fallout, etc.), shoot us an email.
This fan video is nearly two years old, but since it’s been showing up in my Google and Technorati updates lately, I figured it’s worth sharing. In this video, the often-abused Adoring Fan is victim to some well-placed (and well-timed) bow and arrow fire.
If you’ve got a cool video to share, feel free to email us with suggestions for the blog.
So recently, we’ve seen the ever-popular Adoring Fan smashed by watermelons and used as bowling pins, but this might be the ultimate jab…making him part of a BeeGee’s video parody. Brought to my attention within the forums and by creator Egger3rd, the following video shows that the Adoring Fan can fall, but he’s still “Stayin Alive.”
Aside from the video we shared a few weeks back showing the him being pummeled by 10,000 watermelons, the Adoring Fan has taken plenty of abuse from other fans. Above is a video of him being used as bowling pins. For a few more examples, take a look here, as well as here.
I’m sure somewhere, Tingle from the Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker, is writing the Adoring Fan a letter to let him know how to cope with his “celebrity status.”
Todd sent me this hilarious video that he found over on Destructoid that I figured I’d share on the blog. The video, created by Elgiggidy, shows him dropping 10,000 watermelons at high-res quality upon a unfortunate “Adoring Fan.” Hilarious.
It should be noted that this isn’t the first “watermelon glitch” video to hit the internets. Previously, other videos have been uploaded showing the wrath of 5,000 watermelons. You can take a look at some of the other fan-made videos over at YouTube.
