Spotted by BGS dev Alan Nanes on Buzz Patrol, check out this award-winning Karliah costume!
BGS Dev Ryan Sears sent along this YouTube video showing a Skyrim-inspired track created entirely with the Trials Evolution level creator. Looks pretty close to the real thing, don’t you think?
To all the moms out there, we wish you a Happy Mother’s Day! We can’t thank you enough for the amazing things you do.
Tim from Vancouver can attest to this. For his birthday he asked his mother, Vera, to create a Skyrim cake featuring Alduin. Visit her blog, Baking Obsession, and see how she proved her Level 100 cake-making skills.
This weekend we’ve updated our fan art galleries with new Dishonored, Elder Scrolls, and Fallout contributions. There’s a great variety of art — paintings, toys, clay creations, and a whole lot more.
The majestic Skyrim image above comes from talented artist Richard F, who submitted several Skyrim-inspired pieces. See more of his work and submissions by others in the Flickr slideshow below…
If you have Fan Art you’d like to submit, email us at email@example.com
If you haven’t checked out this College Humor original, watch it now!
In my last post for Community Scrapbook update, we asked you guys to grab screenshots of the homes you’ve created (or at least touched up). I received plenty of great submissions, and I thought I’d share some of our favorites. Above is Burger Boy by eldiabs.
Great work by everyone. If you’ve got ideas for what the next Community Scrapbook should be, post in the comments section, or hit us up at firstname.lastname@example.org

After our last Community Scrapbook, I received a number of emails suggesting that we do one centering around the homes you’ve created for your characters in our games — so let’s run with that. Above (Wolverine House — Morrowind) is an example created by BGS moderator (and active modder) Princess Stomper.
Whether it’s Morrowind or Oblivion or Fallout 3, email us your favorite screenshots of your favorite living quarters — whether they’re creations you’ve made or just a look at how you spruced things up in existing homes.
Awhile back, I suggested that the next Community Scrapbook center around sharing/creating characters that look like celebrities. Hmm, that didn’t seem to work out too well. I only received a few emails and some of those have links that no longer work. Thanks to Grayewolf for the one above (likeness: Adrianna Lima). I also saw this post in the forums today — I can’t tell if it’s Christian Bale, Jared Leto, or someone else.
Rather than coming up with a new Community Scrapbook on my own, send your suggestions to email@example.com, or just post in the comments section below. Try to keep in mind themes that will work with both The Elder Scrolls and Fallout.
In our last Community Scrapbook, we asked you guys to send along your favorite screens taken while in V.A.TS. I especially enjoyed Electric Messiah’s image from Tranquility Lane (above). Simple, but looks really cool with the B&W background.
For the next edition of Community Scrapbook, we’ll be looking for your favorite celebrity lookalike characters you’ve created – either using the The Elder Scrolls Construction Set or The G.E.C.K. Bonus points for anyone that recreates Dennis Rodman (hair dye/wedding dress era), Bennett (Commando), or Yaddle (creature from the Phantom Menace).
After the break, check out a few more V.A.T.S. screenshots.
In the last edition of Community Scrapbook, a few of you made suggestions on a theme for this go around. Looking over the ideas, it sounds like you’re looking for something a little more gruesome. So this time around, send us an email with your favorite screenshots taken while using VATS.
This should be fun.
