This is the story of a young and powerful Dark Elf, who is also an up-and-coming member of the Mages Guild. He, along with the very best of his peers, was hand-selected by Mages Guild leader and founder Vanus Galerion to accompany you in the assault on Cold Harbor. When the mass portal to Cold Harbor went awry, these formidable Mages Guild members arrived, scattered over the icy wasteland of Molag Bal’s realm. Separated from their allies and you, their partner, the group was captured and imprisoned by Molag Bal’s Daedric army for use in torturous live training exercises.
The young Dark Elf is trapped in a cage with his fellow Mages Guild members. The imprisoned group is plotting an escape, but one, small thing is missing.

We’ve already seen some amazing displays of Dishonored skill on YouTube. Now we want to see what you can really do — and we’re putting up a cool prize.
Starting today, we’re looking for the most creative power combos, the craziest kill moves and the sneakiest feats of stealth on YouTube. To enter the contest, simply upload a direct capture Dishonored video clip to YouTube — under 60 seconds and at 720p quality — by 11:59pm EST on October 31.
There are two ways to submit your entry:
1. Email us a link to your video at “email@example.com” with subject line “Dishonored Killer Moves”
2. Tweet a link to your video with hashtag “#DishonoredKillerMoves”
If we like your clip, we’ll request your high-quality raw video file from you, so hold on to that. We’ll then include your footage in a compilation video and credit you appropriately, while the player with the most impressive clip will win a framed Dishonored painting (pictured here). Preference will be given to clips with music disabled, and direct capture is a must.

Just a reminder that the Remix Competition for ‘The Drunken Whaler’ ends this Friday. If you’re looking for a little inspiration, check out contributions from co-QA Project Lead Jen Tonon and QA Tester James Stancil.
Jen, who provides rhythm guitar and backing vocals for Cassandra Syndrome, took the contest as an opportunity to play some guitar on the weekend. For James’ mix, he took a vastly different approach and turned “The Drunken Whaler” into a catchy dance track.

July 24, 2012 (Rockville, MD) – Ventrilo, the premier group voice communication program used in tournaments and multiplayer games, is returning once again to QuakeCon 2012 with its fifth annual sponsorship of the “Ultimate Power Up” Sweepstakes. This year one lucky attendee will drive away from QuakeCon 2012 in a brand new race-red 2012 Ford Shelby GT500 Coupe.
“We’re very excited to work with our friend Brian Knapp and everyone at Ventrilo in order to provide QuakeCon attendees the chance to win this spectacular car,” said Todd Hollenshead, president of id Software. “This year someone will ride home in style in this sleek new vehicle.”
”It is the passion and camaraderie of the gaming community that helped spawn the creation of Ventrilo, and nowhere is that community more well represented than at QuakeCon.” said Brian Knapp, president of Flagship Industries. “We are proud to return as a major sponsor of this unique event for our fifth year in a row, and excited to provide one fan with the chance to win a Ford Shelby GT500 Coupe.”
The “Ultimate Power Up” winner will be randomly selected at 9:30pm CST on Saturday, August 4th as part of the tournament finals event on the QuakeCon Dell Main Stage. A total of 100 coveted tickets for the 2012 Ford Shelby GT500 Coupe will be awarded to attendees throughout each day of the show through QuakeCon contests, random drawings, and other events.
