In time for Halloween, you can scream on Steam free (!!)  – through three chapters of The Evil Within!

Starting October 30th, you’ll be able to enjoy the first three chapters for free. If you choose to purchase the game after the first three chapters, you’ll be able to continue your save progress, and as an added bonus, we’ll throw more evil your way with a free copy of Call of Cthulhu. Finally, and for a limited time only, we are offering 50% off The Evil Within’s Season Pass!

Already purchased The Evil Within and its Season Pass? Fear not. Those that already have the main game will have Cthulhu added to your library, and purchasers of the Season Pass will receive special offers on other Bethesda titles.

RAGE demo hits PSN

The demo for RAGE is now available on PSN in North American (look for it in Europe tomorrow).

This demo presents a slice of the early game, giving players a chance to explore the town of Wellspring and participate in races, games and other attractions. When you’ve had your fill there, you can head out to deal with some Ghost Clan raiders. Shooting might be involved.

Xbox 360 users can download the same demo here.

WET demo available this week on PSN/Xbox LIVE

A demo of the game is available now on Xbox LIVE and on the PlayStation Store in Europe, and will be available on the PlayStation Store in North America tomorrow. The demo will take you through part of the first level, plus you’ll be able check out Rage Mode and a car-hopping sequence (as seen in screenshots for the game, below)

In other news, check out the next WET video — Sound of Cold Steel — to find out what went into creating the soundtrack for the game. For more videos, head to the official site at wetthegame.com.
