This weekend we’ve got exciting new preview coverage for the upcoming iPhone release of RAGE. IGN’s Levi Buchanan has the scoop, and above you can check out their exclusive video footage on the game.
And as previewed in last week’s episode of The Jace Hall Show, Jace recently had to a chance to check out RAGE on iPhone with id Software’s Matt Hooper and Jason Kim. The fun starts about 3o seconds into the show. Also on the show, you can see more of Jace going ballistic on Veronica (played by Felicia Day) in New Vegas.

Over the past couple months, we’ve let you know about the Schwarzenegger v. EMA case. Today’s the big day, as the Supreme Court has begun hearing the case. In preparation for the hearing, the The Wall Street Journal featured an article about the case, which actually features our very own Pete Hines.

Like whack-a-mole, we put up new coverage roundups, and more and more stuff keeps popping up. In addition to our recent updates for RAGE, Brink (parts 1 and 2), New Vegas, and Hunted… we’ve MORE news to share.
Kicking things off, we’re excited to share news that Brink was named the #1 Game of Show at this year’s Eurogamer Expo. You can check out the top ten games here (which includes New Vegas as well). Congrats to the team at Splash Damage for their efforts both on the game and at recent trade show events.
Also ranking the top games from the show was split/screen co-op — who ranked New Vegas, Brink, and Hunted in their top 10. Swap New Vegas out for RAGE, and that pretty much sums up the most recent Eurogamer podcast. Definitely worth listening to, the podcast features RAGE’s Tim Willits, Hunted’s Maxx Kaufman, and Brink’s Ed Stern.

Earlier in the month, we let you know about the Hunted and RAGE presentations taking place at this year’s Eurogamer Expo (more on that in a bit), but we also wantd you to know we have playable titles at the show. Like QuakeCon and PAX, you’ll have a chance to go hands-on with Hunted, New Vegas and Brink. And with Brink, you’ll even have a chance to chat with with developers from Splash Damage.
One quick programming note, the presentation for Hunted has been moved to 3:30 PM on Saturday, October 2nd. For those wanting to see RAGE, that presentation will be shown each day at 5 PM.

In addition to the new gameplay footage at Machinima, which Nick shared earlier in the week, there’s been plenty of great news and coverage for Hunted coming out of PAX and GamesCom. Here’s a quick look at some of the highlights.
Today on Destructoid, the game was announced as one of their Best of Show picks at PAX. Wanna know how it made the list? Read Jim Sterling’s hands-on impressions from the show. Here’s an excerpt…
“Graphically, Hunted is very pretty looking, and the gameplay, at least for ranged combat, feels highly polished already. The only minor gripe so far is that steering characters left and right, especially when running, is a bit stiff. Otherwise, this is looking like it could be a surprise hit in 2011 and is a game I am definitely excited about.”
