If you’re heading to Seattle next week for PAX, be sure to check out our presentation for Hunted: The Demon’s Forge. Details below…
A Live Demonstration of HUNTED: THE DEMON’S FORGE
Come check out Bethesda Softworks’ and inXile Entertainment’s live demonstration of the exciting new action game, Hunted: The Demon’s Forge™! Powered by the Unreal 3 engine, Hunted is a fresh take on the classic fantasy game that delivers the intensity and action of a modern-day shooter. Descend into a dark world for an unforgettable cooperative experience as you and your partner face down wave after wave of vicious enemies. Taking control of either E’lara, a ranged weapon expert, or Caddoc, a master swordsman, you must use a variety of weapons, powerful spells, and cover tactics to battle your way through menacing dungeons, overgrown ruins, and downtrodden towns. This path will lead you deep within the world of Kala Moor…and to the secrets of The Demon’s Forge. Q&A session to follow the demonstration.
The Hunted presentation will take place in the Unicorn Theatre at the Washington State Convention Center on Friday, September 3rd, from 1:30-2:30 PM.
In addition to Hunted, developers from id Software will be presenting RAGE at the show. Details on the presentation, as well as what’s at our booth, can be found in our latest community newsletter, In The ‘Works.
In the chaotic jumble that was QuakeCon, you may have missed the bundle of brand-new screenshots we released for our upcoming games. We kind of did, too. So here they are, re-posted in one place for consecutive consumption.
Check below for fresh shots of Hunted, Brink, Fallout: New Vegas and RAGE.
This morning we’re pleased to announce that in-game pre-order packs for Hunted: The Demon’s Forge are now available in North America through participating retailers. These bonuses will also be available across Europe and Australia, with details forthcoming.

Wanted to let everyone know that we’ve added a special presentation for Hunted: The Demon’s Forge at this year’s QuakeCon. On Friday, August 13th, inXile’s Maxx Kaufman and Matt Findley will be on hand to show off the game to QuakeCon attendees in the Grand Ballroom of the Hilton Anatole. The presentation will start at 7:30 pm local time.
If you missed news on the other panels and presentation, check out our previous blog post. Between now and next Thursday, we’ll keep you updated on additional scheduling notes.
Heading down to Cologne for GamesCom 2010? You should really come by the Bethesda booth. There you will find award-winning games, world-class people, and possibly an unassuming child from which you can wrest a demo controller. Not that we condone such behavior. I’m just saying, he’s totally hogging the station.
Dates for the public run from August 19 through August 22, where attendees will have a chance to check out fully playable demos of Brink, Hunted and Fallout: New Vegas. Special live presentations of RAGE will also be shown every hour of the day.
The Big Beth Booth will reside in Hall 6.1, aisle B #40. Write it down. Find us. Sample our softworks. And wait your turn in line; that kid deserves his demo.
Welcome back to another roundup. This week we start with the latest coverage on Hunted: The Demon’s Forge to share. PC Games Hardware has an interview with inXile President, Matt Findlay. Here’s an excerpt from PC-oriented interview…
PCGH: Assuming that you develop a special PC built of Hunted: The Demon’s Forge what features can only be realized with the PC as technical platform? Are there technical/visual differences between the PC and the console version of the game?
Matt Findlay: Although Hunted looks great on the console, there is a general upgrade of texture resolutions and shading that can occur on the PC because of the ability to scale performance based on hardware. We plan on taking every advantage of that.
