Our sister studio, Vir2L Studios, have released Scram Sam, their first game for the iPhone and iPod touch. Reminiscent of classic arcade games, your character needs to make a mad dash to the gas pump – racing through rush hour traffic for the gas pump — in order to gas up his/her vehicle. The game utilizing the touchscreen controls of the iPhone/iPod touch and features 50 different levels.

Scram Sam is priced at $1.99 on iTunes. If you want to try it first, you can also download the Lite version.

This…is Medieval Games!

No, we’re not making a game based on the Cable Guy, but that scene above was the first thing that came to mind when I learned about Medieval Games, a new title coming to the Nintendo Wii from our sister studio, Vir2L Studios. Here’s a bit from the game’s press release:

From battling dragons and storming the castle, to catapulting and archery contests, Medieval Games offers hours of fun for the entire family. Choose from a variety of colorful characters, such as the knight, princess, bard, or wizard as you compete in a variety of game modes. Tournaments and jousting await in this rich fantasy world!

The game is early on in it’s development, but I wanted to make sure it’s on your radar. Additionally, Vir2L is working on ZeniMax’s first iPhone (and iPod touch) game — Scram Sam.

For more details on these titles, keep an eye on Vir2l’s new site.
