PAX is just over a week away! At this year’s show, our lineup will include hourly, live demonstrations of Brink, as well as a chance to go hands-on with our Fall releases — WET and Rogue Warrior. Additionally, we’ll have playable builds of upcoming Xbox Live Arcade titles — Doom II and Quake Arena Arcade. We’ll also have giveaways at the booth, including Brink t-shirts and posters for Rogue Warrior and WET.
If you’re planning on attending PAX, here’s the scheduled hours our booth will be open:
Friday, 9/4: 10:00am – 7:00pm
Saturday, 9/5: 10:00am – 6:00pm
Sunday, 9/6: 10:00am – 6:00pm
If you’re looking to check out Brink, the presentations will start at the top of the hour and begin at 10 am each day. The last demo on Friday begins at 6 pm; on Saturday and Sunday the final demo will be at 5 pm.
For more details on PAX 09, visit the official site. Hope to see you at the show!
It’s Wednesday – so here comes another Penny Arcade Fallout comic. It’s not just any comic though…it’s the final one. Head over to the Fallout 3 Official Site to see how the saga of the Vault 77 Dweller ends.
While you might be sad to see the comic go away, I’ll try to turn that frown upside down. At my desk, I’ve got some leftover goodies from PAX to giveaway. From amongst the schwag, five lucky winners will win a Vault Dweller’s Survival Guide. Additionally, three very lucky winners will win Survival Guide, a signed Fallout 3 poster, and one of the coveted Fallout 3 puppets.
Here’s the basic rules:
- Send an email to email@example.com. In it, let us know which of the 12 comics was your favorite.
- All e-mails must be received by midnight (U.S. EST), Sunday, October 12th. Winners will be randomly selected and contacted shortly there after. Any foul play detected will result in automatic disqualification.
- All participants must be 18 or older to enter and verification may be required before the winner is announced.
This afternoon we put up the latest Penny Arcade Fallout comic. Make your way to the Fallout 3 Official Site to see it for yourself.
Being that it’s Wednesday, we’ve put up the tenth Penny Arcade Fallout comic.
Head on over to the Fallout 3 Official Site to check it out.
Be sure to check out the ninth Penny Arcade Fallout comic — now up on the Fallout 3 Official Site. This week our friend recounts the horrors of Vault 77. Could anything be worse than being stuck in a vault full of puppets???
As I was flying back to DC from Vegas yesterday, I wasn’t able to give my weekly reminder about the latest Penny Arcade Fallout comic. Well, I’m back — so I’ll remind you now.
Head here to see our protagonist’s departure from Vault 77.
PAX is over, but the puppet mayhem of Vault 77 continues. We’ve got the newest Penny Arcade Fallout comic up on the official site. Will our Vault Dweller exit the vault? Find out what happens next!
With Leipzig behind us we now get, like, a day to recoup before we had out to Seattle for PAX. We’re all very excited about it as none of us have been before and we have a lot going on this year.
We will have a booth at the show, and we’re planning to allow the public their first opportunity to play Fallout 3. That’s right, hands-on. Now, there’s gonna be 50,000 people or more at this show so they don’t get to sit down and play it for an hour, but we’ll have six kiosks setup in our booth for folks to come by and have a chance to take it for a spin.
We’ll also be handing out handy Vault Dweller Survival Guides to everyone that stops by the booth. These things are a must have, I love them. Really well done. Plus you have to come by and checkout the Airstream.
We’ll also be giving a new Fallout 3 demo in the Main Theatre on Saturday at 2:30pm. This is right after the Main Theatre session where Gabe and Tycho draw a strip, so I’m sure lots of people will already be over that way. It’s a pretty lengthy demo and I’ll be there along with Todd, Emil, and Istvan. We may have a chance to do a short Q&A with folks, I don’t know. Between the demo and what we have planned after the demo, we may be pretty short on time. If you like schwag, I wouldn’t leave early…that’s all I’m sayin’.
And speaking of demos there may be a new gameplay video coming out on Friday that will be a very condensed version of the PAX demo for everyone that doesn’t get to come see it, and to whet the appetite for everyone that will be coming.
Then on Saturday night we are sponsoring a Post-Apocalyptic Movie Night. It’s at 9 PM in Raven Theatre. The movies to be shown are voted on by you guys, and right now it looks like 12 Monkeys and The Road Warrior are in the lead.
Looking forward to meeting a lot of folks out there and showing people the game. Stop by the booth and say hi as we’ll all be there working the booth and answering questions.
It’s Wednesday again, and while I probably don’t need to remind you there’s a new Penny Arcade comic on the Fallout 3 Official Site, I want to make sure it’s etched in your brain.
Speaking of Penny Arcade, PAX is this week, and we’re helping put together a Post-Apocalyptic movie night. If you plan on attending, it’s not too late to vote for the movies that will be screened on Saturday night. Currently 12 Monkeys and The Road Warrior are the front runners. Voting will continue through today.
Stay tuned for more PAX details…
