Looking for something Fallout-y for your living room? Right now you can pre-order The Art of Fallout 3 at Amazon — a hardcover coffee table book measuring 8″ x 12.4.” If the book looks familiar, it’s a larger version of the art book we included with the Collector’s Edition of Fallout 3.
Wanted to let you know that Gamestop.com has added a new incentive for pre-ordering Fallout 3 on their website. Along with your copy of the Game, you’ll not only receive the free Fallout 3 poster and CD, but now you’ll also receive a copy of the Vault Dweller’s Survival Guide — previously available only at PAX.
Regarding this offer, here are a few things you should know:
- The Vault Dweller’s Guide is limited in quantity. When they run out of guides, that’s it.
- The offer is for online pre-orders only and cannot be received with an in-store pickup.
- If you’ve already pre-ordered online, you’re set to receive your Vault Dweller’s Survival Guide along with your Game, poster and CD. You don’t need to do anything else.
To pre-order Fallout 3, head here to pre-order the game on Xbox 360, PS3, or Games for Windows.
If you haven’t pre-ordered Fallout 3 yet, I just discovered a new pre-order incentive over at Walmart.com. With your order, you’ll receive this Vault Boy t-shirt. Just be sure to select the version of the game with your desired t-shirt size (Large or Extra Large).
After the break, you can check out the flip side of the shirt.
Greetings from Las Vegas! Before heading off to PAX, I’m here at the Game Crazy 2008 National Sales Conference at Mandalay Bay. I always get a kick out of conventions in this town because you get a mix of different crowds from different industries all in Sin City for their respective jobs. Last time I was here it was all about weddings and crazy outfits for pets. This time I’m seeing a good mix of gamers, golfers, and ummm…adult entertainers.
Anyways, I’m here showing the game to managers from all the different Game Crazy stores. So far, it’s been fun to see how enthusiastic and excited they are about the game. It’s starting to hit me how how close we are to releasing the game. Exciting times.
Speaking of Game Crazy, I thought I’d share this pic of the Vault Boy keychain that you can get when you pre-order the game. It’s an in-store promotion, and you’ll get the keychain when you pick up the game.
As Kotaku reader Kain The Undead recently discovered, pre-ordering Fallout 3 at Best Buy will score you one of these Nuka-Cola magnetic bottle openers. In addition to the bottle opener, you’ll also get a coupon to save $5 on the Fallout 3 Strategy Guide. You can pre-order online (look for bottle opener “Special Offer”), or simply visit your local Best Buy store.
I’ve received several emails from fans inquiring whether or not GameStop is providing a Fallout 3 CD with pre-orders for the game. The answer? Yes, yes we are. With a pre-order of the game, fans are given a 5-track disc with “featured selections” from the soundtrack, along with a Brotherhood of Steel poster.
GameStop should have started receiving their stock of this pre-order giveaway late last week, so if your local GameStop doesn’t have them yet, they’ll probably have them in a few days. I’d venture to guess that GameStop’s website will show the offer sometime soon.
