It’s Bethesda Weekend on Steam, and that means we’ve taken over the Steam store frontpage. Not by force this time, but rather by offering awesome deals on Bethesda games for anyone that preorders Fallout: New Vegas.

Go here to reserve your copy of New Vegas and get the Caravan Pack pre-order bonus. Additionally, they’re running the following sales:

Rogue Warrior Now Available!

rw_xbox360_m_front11.jpg

Rogue Warrior is now available in North American for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Games for Windows, as well as on Steam.  Experience an action-packed single-player campaign as well as intense multiplayer combat playing as the real-life Navy SEAL and founder of the elite SEAL Team Six, Richard “Demo Dick” Marcinko.

Featuring the voice of Golden Globe winner and Oscar nominee, Mickey Rourke, Rogue Warrior was inspired by Marcinko’s New York Times bestseller of the same name and his subsequent novels based loosely on his own past military experiences. Marcinko’s defiant, crude, and sometimes ruthless behavior has earned him both glory and infamy in the history books.

For more details on Rogue Warrior, visit the game’s official website.

Morrowind, Oblivion and Call of Cthulhu now available on Steam

We’re happy to announce that The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind Game of the Year, The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Game of the Year plus all the downloadable content, and Call of Cthulhu are now available on Steam.

The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind Game of the Year includes Morrowind and its expansions, Tribunal and Bloodmoon (available in English, French, German, Spanish and Italian).

For Oblivion, you’ll have two different options to choose from. You can get The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Game of the Year — which includes Oblivion plus expansions, Knights of the Nine and Shivering Isles (available in English, French, German, Spanish and Italian).

Or get the “never available before in one package” called The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Game of the Year Edition Deluxe, which features Oblivion, Knights of the Nine, Shivering Isles and all the downloadable content, which includes the following (available only in English):

  • Horse Armor Pack
  • Wizard’s Tower
  • The Orrery
  • Thieves Den
  • Spell Tomes
  • Vile Lair
  • Mehrunes’ Razor
  • Fighter’s Stronghold

Want both Morrowind GOTY and Oblivion GOTY? You can save even more by purchasing The Elder Scrolls Game of the Year Pack (or Game of the Year Pack Deluxe).

Meanwhile, if you’re a fan of the works of H.P. Lovecraft, you really owe it to yourself to play Call of Cthulhu (available in English, French and German). When he heard it was going up on Steam, Emil Pagliarulo sent me this about Call of Cthulhu – “That game has some seriously terrifying sequences. Headfirst really did a great job of capturing the Cthulhu vibe. Actually getting to experience parts of Lovecraft’s short stories – like ‘The Shadow over Innsmouth’ -  is awesome.”

Some caveats: Steam is like Sandals. It’s all inclusive. So if you already own Oblivion but want to get the expansions or downloadable content, you need to own the Steam version of Oblivion. Which isn’t all that bad since it lets you toss that disk.

Happy downloading!
