On Saturday, April 12th, we celebrated Wolfenstein: The New Order with a special PAX East community event — brought to you by Neumond Recordings. Thanks to iam8bit, the band, and everyone that attended for making it such a memorable night.
Many people were excited to have hands-on experience with Wolfenstein: The New Order. For those of you that were not able to attend PAX East (or for those of you that just want more), we’ve rounded up some of the news that came out of playthroughs of Wolfenstein: The New Order.
Wolfenstein wasn’t the only game coverage available at PAX East. Our terrifyingly awesome gameplay presentation of The Evil Within left everyone screaming for more! The Nerdist and GameSpot offer all the inside knowledge of what went on behind the closed doors of our dark theater.
Finally to celebrate the success of our PAX East 2014 adventure, we’ve released new screenshots which can be viewed in the album below.
Get Pysched! Beginning this week, you can pre-order your copy of Wolfenstein: The New Order on Steam. As already noted, pre-ordering the game will get you access to the our Beta for the next DOOM game! In addition, Steam pre-orders will also land you two Team Fortress 2 items — the Die Regime-Panzerung armor and Der Maschinensoldaten-Helm helmet.
PAX East seemed like a whirlwind this year! We laughed (a lot). We cried (not really). Most of all we had fun with everyone who visited the booth and those that came to our Wolfenstein community event — a Pop Muzik Showcase brought to you by your faux-vorite record label, Neumond Recordings.
We were happy to see so many of you having a great time — whether it was playing Wolfenstein: The New Order, dancing to the German music of the party, or watching The Evil Within gameplay presentation. Below are some of our favorite highlights spanning the course of the PAX three days.

As a reminder, Wolfenstein: The New Order hits PS4, PS3, Xbox One, Xbox 360, and PC on Tuesday, May 20th. Since announcing DOOM Beta pre-order incentive for Wolfenstein: The New Order, we’ve received plenty of questions on how the beta and redemption process will work. This week we have updated the Beta FAQ with new information.

I’VE JUST PRE-ORDERED WOLFENSTEIN, WHERE’S MY DOOM BETA KEY?
A key code will be located on an insert that’s included inside your boxed copy of Wolfenstein: The New Order when it releases on May 20th. Once the key code is redeemed, you’ll be registered to participate in the DOOM beta once it begins. Check back at wolfenstein.com/doom for updated information.
DO I NEED TO SPECIFY WHAT PLATFORM I WANT TO PLAY THE DOOM BETA?
No. DOOM beta access correlates to your pre-ordered Wolfenstein: The New Order platform. If you purchase an Xbox 360 or Xbox One version of Wolfenstein: The New Order, you will receive an invitation to the Xbox One DOOM beta. PlayStation 3 or PlayStation 4 purchasers will receive an invite to the PS4 DOOM beta. All PC purchases will receive an invite to the PC DOOM beta. The DOOM beta will only be available on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
IF I PRE-ORDER THE GAME DIGITALLY, WILL I STILL GET ACCESS TO THE DOOM BETA?
We are working with Steam, Microsoft, and Sony to help ensure that persons pre-ordering digitally from Steam, Microsoft, and Sony will receive access to the DOOM beta. Other digital retailers’ processes and/or participation may vary. We suggest contacting your preferred retailer directly for additional information.
