Another option would be to allow us to usurp command of the blades from her and thus not have to kill ol parthy.

I really wish you guys elected to go with a Google Maps API driven map for the Skyrim guide rather than letting Prima use their own system. The map is a pain in the arse to use. Loads incredibly slowly. Plus, almost unusable in the Steam in-game browser. The ones that the UESP made for Oblivion and Morrowind using the Google Maps API are far better.

Every modder that has added animations to the game always states, in one way or another, that the Creation Kit does not allow new animations to be added. Oblivion's Construction Set also had this problem. Why is it so hard to implement this?

I just heard about a mod that adds a dialog option with that Blades woman that wants you to kill the dragon Partinox or however his name is spelled.
It`s the option to lie to her about killing him.
Can you please add an option like that?
Alot of people don`t want to kill him, but we also want to be able to continue the Blades quests.
Pretty please.

I assume it is risky to run existing mods with the new beta patch. Now that I've crossed that line, it sadly makes me hesitant to try out the beta.

SkyUI has nothing to do with this particular problem. It neither touches the dialog UI or addresses the UI's sensitivity to mouse placement while selecting dialog choices.

Finally, jeez. Now that I'm 112 hours into the game, this is of little help. Althought with the ridiculous way they're nickel-and-dining every little piece of info (multiple sets to purchase FOR EACH HOLD), I wouldn't have used it anyways, even if it came out on day 1. Dragon Shout app is the way to go.
