WET planned for Fall release (Updated)

This morning we put a press release announcing that we’re publishing WET. Developed by Artificial Mind and Movement (A2M), Wet is a highly stylized third-person shooter that seamlessly blends acrobatics, gun play, and sword kills. WET is short for wetworks — which are covert operations that get messy.

The game stars Rubi Malone, a gun-for-hire, voiced by Eliza Dushku — known for her work on “Tru Calling,” “Buffy the Vampire Slayer,” and currently starring in Fox’s “Dollhouse.”

WET will release on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 this fall. Between now and then, we’ll keep you updated on the title. To read the full press release, head here.

  1. Begun? It’s been going on for awhile. The number of titles that have been released for PC have been dwindling in favour of console systems for the last few years.

  2. This game was never intended for a PC release; WET was going to be published by Activision, who dumped it. It was in developer’s hell for a while before Bethesda picked it up; it’s not like they had this from the get-go. If they did, a PC release would probably have happened.

  3. i don’t understand why they wouldn’t release a pc version, they develop the game on a pc.what’s the difference between compiling it to test and compiling it for release? opengl is the same no matter what platform it run on. add an installer, remap the controls to keyboard and mouse, and upgrade to higher quality rendering for the superior pc video cards.slap it on steam.bam done

  4. Looks like a great title with a very tough bad booty chug a lugging heroine. Congratulations Bethesda and to all involved in keeping this work alive.
