What we’re playing


With a long weekend, those that didn’t take a a vacation from their PCs and game consoles had plenty of time to catch up on games. I see a few folks checking out Punch-Out!! on Wii, the PS3 demo for inFamous, and office favorites like Dawn of War II, Team Fortress 2, and Plants vs. Zombies.

Chris Esko, Gameplay Programmer: Red Faction: Guerilla multiplayer demo, Demigod, Team Fortres 2, Plants vs. Zombies.

Daryl Brigner, Level Designer: Mass Effect (PC), Team Fortress 2 (PC), and possibly some Shadow of the Colossus.

Cory Dornbusch, QA Medic: Dodging Jarate wielding Snipers in Team Fortress 2. Then get stuck in with the boyz in Dawn of War 2, after that try “little rocket man” for Half Life 2 Ep.2.

Andrew Scharf: Plants vs. Zombies, KOTOR, more Peggle for iPhone, and I’ve started to play Planescape: Torment again.

Brent Krische: Go 3D and Gel: Set and Match.

Fred Zeleny, Weeklong Beach Vacation Guy: Volleyball, Kite-Flying, and Competitive Sandcastle Crushing – Godzilla Class! Also, far too much Rock Band with  friends in the beach house’s theater room.

Shane Liesegang, Designer: inFamous, Broken Steel, and Alone in the Dark.

Dan Ross, QA: WET, Rogue Warrior and maybe some Silent Hunter 3 if I ever get to go home.

Brett Douville, Keeper of the Build: Assassin’s Creed, Schizoid, Braid, and a whole ton of baseball at the third annual Walk the Plank tournament.

Jeff Browne, Level Designer: Plants vs Zombies, fishing all weekend in upstate NY.

Jeff Gardiner, Producer: Sacred 2 (360).

Tim “Visor” Lamb, Producer: Street Fighter 4 and Golf in RL.

Daniel Silva: Plants vs. Zombies.

William Killeen, Associate Designer: inFamous demo, Fallout 3, Dawn of War 2.

Michael Lattanzia, QA: Monster Hunter Freedom 2, Monster Hunter Freedom Unite demo, Lego Indiana Jones, Valkyria Chronicles (that’s right, I finally beat Last Remnant!), inFamous demo, and maybe a little Dynasty Warriors: Strikeforce. I’m also considering picking up Punch-Out!!

Dane Olds, Artist: Demon’s Souls and Dawn of War II.

Emil Pagliarulo, Fallout 3 Lead Designer: Star Trek Legacy, Velvet Assassin, and Sacred 2 (360).

Mike Dulany, Programmer: Punch-Out!!, Fallout 3: The Pitt & Broken Steel, and Killzone 2.

  1. I played TF2 & Rocket Jumped off someone’s head. Canyon Race in Gary’s mod & Fallout 3. Also some Car Jack Streets on iPhone.

  2. Yeah TF2 has been great this weekend. Lots of noobs playing adds a kind of buzz and feeling of excitement and the new maps are brilliant. I’ve been playing some left 4 dead and Red Orchestra too, planning on getting Killing Floor today for more zombie killing goodness. 🙂

  3. Morrowind Oblivion or Fallout3 (mainly Morrowind though because i haven’t played it in ages and i love the mods i got and stuff)
