What we’re playing: Mars Multiplayer Edition

This week for what we’re playing, rather than picking one game to highlight based on my own observations, I asked the team which game they’d like to see featured. By a narrow margin, Red Faction: Guerilla edged out inFamous and The Sims 3. Perhaps the incentive of getting an ostrich hammer put it over the edge.

Now that you know what we’re playing, let us know the games you’re currently enjoying.

Chris Esko: Heading to Mars in Red Faction: Guerilla and finishing up Plants Vs. Zombies.

Matt Grandstaff: inFamous, Punch-Out!!, and maybe some Fable 2 or RE5.

  1. I’ll be playing some Max Payne 2, Soldier of Fortune 2, Thief: Deadly Shadows, Hitman 2, & probably some TF2. I’ve been going thru some older pc games that I have that I realize are amazing and giving them a whirl. I can’t wait to play Max Payne 2! I’ve heard great things about it & just recently purchased it.

  2. I will be playing a little fallout, a little dynasty warrior: strikeforce, and maybe a little demigod. Mostly i will do some modeling and animations and trying to make mods to oblivion that truly rock.

  3. Probably playing some TF2 , Oracle of Seasons (gbc ftw 😀 ) , Oblivion ive started to play a bit more , probably play C&C3 : Kane’s wrath and hopefully be able to play assassin’s creed soon (silly game wont work and now im trying a reinstall >.<)

My niece picked up SIMS 3 for her birthday as soon as it came out. She is total fanatic about that game having every expansion for it since the first one came out. To think she just turned sixteen makes me wonder how fanatical she’ll be come her 21st 😀

I’ve been playing FALLOUT 3 almost non-stop all weekend discovering tons of areas i’ve never seen before or that have a different look thanks to the appearance of the Enclave. Definitely a living thriving game world to indulge in modless first.

Just picked up the FALLOUT 3 OFFICIAL GAME GUIDE at my local GAMESTOP as the customers behind me gasped in shock at the humongous size 🙂 Also brought another copy of DRAKENSANG since i gave my last one to a certain unmentionable who was too lazy to pick up their own copy. Ah friendship… CIVILIZATION THE COMPLETE EDITION, SUPREME COMMANDER and CLIVE BARKER’S JERICHO made my shopping list aswell so its gonna be some long june summer nights gaming in between my days of vollunter service 😀

  5. [Soooo…. NO ONE is playing Uncharted 2 beta? Hmmmm, aren’t I special

SPECIAL! and WONDERFUL! Yes you are Billy Zane! 😀 😀 😀

Unfortunately i aint got no ultra powerful PS3 at the moment. Checked out the multiplayer preview at Gamespot though and it looks like a fantastic action packed shooter which will definitely be good for SONY business wise. Graphics are incredibly detailed with fluid animation and buetiful sound effects. Also love the multitude of colors on everything. Liked how they showed a female player lugging around a huge mini-gun as if it weighed alot and was going to be a problem aiming properly if the character wasnt strong enough to balance it properly.

Thanks for pointing my head BEYOND THE PC! PC! PC! echo..echo..echo..
