Fallout 3 DLC savings on Xbox LIVE next week

As announced on Major Nelson’s blog, Fallout 3 DLC will be the Xbox LIVE Deal of the Week between March 22nd and March 28th. During this time, all DLC for the game — that’s Operation: Anchorage, The Pitt, Broken Steel, Point Lookout, and Mothership Zeta — will be half off and cost only 400 Microsoft Points.

  1. xbob only???? T_T comon…what about some love for us ps3…its like the dlc not being on ps3 thing again….how about we get some share of the love here….im dying for a sale even if its limited..soon as a see its on SOLD!! lol

  2. Cheers. I’m not one to ass-kiss, but you guys are one of the few companies that does DLC well. You always manage a great content-to-price ratio (Broken Steel and Point Lookout in particular were well worth the 800MS points). Try to keep that balance in mind with any future DLC you do. I can’t remember too many people complaining about the price.

Bioware likes to charge 400MS points for 30 minutes of new gameplay and a few new items (looking at Dragon Age). Bah.

And lets not even get into DLC that just unlocks content on the retail disc… there is no faster way to alienate your fanbase than by doing that.

  3. Nice! Its my birthday next week and i only have the money to buy two of them (already have broken steel) so thanks to you guys being so kind as to making them half off for my birthday i can now have them all! Gonna beat fallout 3 and broken steel one more time before i play those though. F3 FTW

  4. I’d buy the expansions in a heartbeat if they were $5 each on PSN.

Make it happen and my $25 is yours. Otherwise I will just wait until the GOTY version is $30 and trade in my regular version. I already spent $60 on the main game. I don’t want to spend another $50 on DLC when I can buy a full game for that price.
