Around the web: Are you ready to get Hunted? (The video game)

It’s been a busy week here at Bethesda. While we’re not following March Madness — both the basketball and The Escapist’s Developer Showdown — we’re announcing new games.

As you may be aware, we unveiled Hunted: The Demon’s Forge on Monday. A modern take on the classic dungeon-diving fantasy genre, Hunted is in development at inXile Entertainment, a studio founded and run by none other than industry veteran Brian Fargo.

The press certainly enjoyed their first glimpse. GameDaily described the game as “an old school concept combined with modern graphics,” saying Hunted “could be one of the year’s most exciting games.” Eurogamer called it “foreboding, atmospheric, detailed” in their detailed preview, while Game Informer gushed that it “looks fantastic.”

What do you guys think? Hearing good things? Let us know in the comments.

Brink fans also have plenty of reading material this week. Richard Ham sat down with GameSpot UK to talk about everything from the first-person shooter’s unique setting to the game’s nitty-gritty multiplayer details. Ham was also interviewed over at X360 Magazine, while Splash CEO Paul Wedgwood chatted with IncGamers about the title’s platforms.

And if you are planning on watching a little b-ball this week, you may have the pleasure of viewing the brand-new Brink commercial appearing on CBS Sports’ online streams. Should be cool.

As always, let us know in the comments if you manage to spot any links we missed. I bet you can’t.
