What we’re playing: Reaching for a clever tagline edition

This week our devs are saying “hello” to Halo again. With the game’s beta started, you’ll see that a number of devs are jumping in to check out Bungie’s final take on the Halo universe. The competitive spirit doesn’t end at Halo though — you’ll notice we’ve got plenty of folks still obsessing over Monster Hunter Tri and pulling off dragon punches in Super Street Fighter IV.

Let us know what you’re playing… who knows, maybe we’ll meet online.

Craig Lafferty: Halo: Reach Beta, Splinter Cell Conviction, and Just Cause 2.

Andrew Scharf: Halo: Reach Beta and FFXIII.

Ian Rogers: Ghostbusters, Fallout 3, and Oblivion.

Mike Dulany: Super Street Fighter 4.

Tim Beggs: Splinter Cell Conviction, God of War III, After Burner Climax, Just Cause 2, Enemy Territory: Quake Wars, going to start Heavy Rain and Crysis: Warhead.

Michael Musick: Monster Hunter Tri has officially commanded all of my gaming time – once you get past the steep learning curve it’s hard to put down.

Michael Aubuchon: I’m currently playing: Team Fortress 2, Battlefield: Bad Company 2, and God of War 3.

Rick Vicens: Batman Arkham Asylum and Dead Space.

Daniel Silva, QA: Playing M.A.G. Go Raven! Boo S.V.E.R!

Matt Weil: Puzzle Quest, King’s Bounty and Bad Company 2.

Matt Ponton: SUPER Street Fighter IV.

Dennis Mejilones: Lord of Ultima Online and Mod Nation Racers PSP Beta.

Sam Bernstein: Busy busy; but when I get around to it, Halo: Reach beta, Mass Effect 2, and Demon’s Souls.

Adam Adamowicz: Photoshop Speed Painting 3000.

Andy Chang: Super Street Fighter IV and Just Cause 2.

Ken Barner: Assassin’s Creed 2

Jeff Senita: Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2.

Devin Winters: I am on my 2nd run through Mass Effect 2.

Pete Hines: God of War III

Alistair Hatch: Splinter Cell Conviction and Halo: Reach beta on bank holiday Monday.

Jen Tonon (QA): Halo: Reach beta, Splinter Cell: Conviction, and World of Warcraft.

Dane Olds: Halo: Reach beta, Dishwasher Dead Samurai, and finishing up an insanity run on Mass Effect 2.

Daryl Brigner: Halo: Reach beta, Age of Conan, and hopefully Riven (If I can ever get it to run on Win 7).

Gary Powell: Just finished Yakuza 3 and Demon’s Souls. Now I’m checking out Nier on PS3 and the Halo: Reach beta.

Laffy Taylor: Bioshock 2 and Trials HD.

Ryan Lea: Metro 2033 and Diablo 2.

Michael Lattanzia: Monster Hunter Tri —  lots and lots of Monster Hunter Tri. Also some Lord of the Rings Online. I think these two will keep me busy for a long time.

Peter Sokal: Continuing through Monster Hunter Tri, the Switch Axe is a beautiful thing. I may try to squeeze in some Mario Galaxy and Chaos Rising as well.

Nick Breckon: Demon’s Souls (finally), Deadly Premonition, Halo: Reach beta, and Left 4 Dead 2.

Jason Bergman: Outcast, Guitar Hero 5, and Plants vs. Zombies.

Steve Cornett: Final Fantasy XIII

Aaron Mitschelen: LotRO, Sakura Wars: So Long, My Love; and Infinite Space.

  1. OBLIVION with Francesco’s Leveled Creatures Items mod 4.5b after a fresh reinstall due to my last setup with another overhaul crashing every time i reloaded after dying. Thats a bit too “gone” for me 😀 If this gets wonky which can happen with mods i’ll just go for the vanilla sweet flavor of the official DLCs and SHIVERING ISLES expansion before braving the mad modding frontier once more. Frans is one of the best though with the only thing bothering me being those almost immortal magic users who wont go down for nothing while only wearing a..ROBE. One day i’ll find their weakness..one day.

Also playing some FALLOUT 3 with the great game soundtrack to Monolith’s 1990s gore shooter BLOOD available at http://files.deathmask.net/sounds/.
