Attendees at QuakeCon 2015 may be the first to go hands on with pre-alpha DOOM multiplayer, but we still have big plans for fans that pre-ordered Wolfenstein: The New Order.
In the coming months, we’ll be selecting Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC players from the Wolfenstein: TNO Beta pool to participate in the DOOM Multiplayer Alpha. To make sure you’re eligible, make sure you redeem your DOOM Beta code at www.wolfenstein.com/doom. If you purchased the game digitally through Steam, PSN, or Xbox Live, you’re already set — you have a digital entitlement that will ready you for the Alpha when it starts.
As a reminder, everyone that pre-ordered Wolfenstein: the New Order is eligible to participate in the multiplayer beta planned for next year before DOOM’s Spring 2016 release.

So, I pre-ordered the game on steam, long before it was released….
Should I have a code?
Wait, does the line “you have a digital entitlement that will ready you for the Alpha when it starts” mean that if I pre-ordered WTNO on Steam (which I did), I’m automatically guaranteed to be able to play the Alpha or does that just mean I can join the Beta pool for selection?
It means you could be pulled from the Beta pool.
But still there is a date for this beta? : /
Hold on, if I’m reading this right, you’re ‘eligible’ to get into the alpha if you’ve got a pre-order code from anywhere other than PSN, XBL or Steam, and if you got your pre-order from any of those three stores you’re ‘entitled’ to alpha access?
In other words, PSN/XBL/Steam customers are gonna get into the alpha for sure and the rest have to enter a code and hope they get lucky? Am I reading that right?
So does this mean, if I make a purchase of this game digitally today? I’m automatically enlisted for the beta. If this is the case, everyone at Bethesda, you guys just made my week!
The digital entitlement was for the launch window release of the game. Buying Wolfenstein: The New Order now does not get you into the beta program.
Matt, What is the Launch window I bought the game about 2 months after release, but in steam my Wolf Copy shows beta option under the Game properties when in the Library? Does this mean I am part of the Beta Pool?
Do you have a still image of what you’re referring to?
Matt,
Yes I have, I have send a copy of it to Bethesda Support.
This is the Ref Number: 150731-005860
Cheers
I couldn’t make it to QuakeCon but I preordered both Wolfenstein games so please pick me!
Hi! I have a question!
I downloade the Wolfenstein: the New Order two months before it’s release, after three months of playing i have to delete the game to make space in the hard drive to download something else.
My question is!
DO I have to redownload Wolfenstein AGAIN to play DOOM beta?
Greetings from mexico!
You shouldn’t need to redownload the game.
I am really really really wanting to play Doom Alpha and Beta but at the time I didn’t have any consoles or PC when Wolfenstein was to pre-order. Do we still get access if we buy Wolfenstein: The New order now!?
You needed to pre-order Wolfenstein: The New Order to guarantee access. That being said, if you go to a store and find a copy of Wolfenstein that has the DOOM Beta callout on the front of the box, you would be able to redeem that code.
Looks like I’m gonna go hunting then haha, cheers for the heads up
Hello! I hope i get accepted in an alpha or beta phase of the game, one of the most awesome games of my childhood <3 Thank you for bringing it back even if it don't make it in the alpha or beta phase until it's released but i hope to play it ASAP. Cheers and release the game soon. Greets from Romania
Just to make sure.
If I buy Wolfenstein: The new order now, will I get access to the beta ?

Will the people that have the non-Steam PC key code get a Steam version key-code through e-mail or a different version?
It will likely be email. More to come.
