New Vegas Collector’s Edition: Get it while you can!


If you’re interested in pre-ordering the Fallout: New Vegas Collector’s Edition and haven’t done so already — now’s a good time to pre-order. Unless your S.P.E.C.I.A.L stats are heavy on Luck, there’s a strong chance you won’t find them after the release of the game.

If you’re wondering about all the content shown above, the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC versions of the CE will all include the following

  • Seven “Lucky 7″ poker chips, each designed to represent chips from the major casinos found on the New Vegas strip and throughout the Mojave Wasteland.
  • A fully customized Fallout: New Vegas deck of cards. Each card in the pack has been uniquely illustrated to depict characters and factions found within the game. Use the cards to play poker, blackjack or Caravan, an original card game that was created by Obsidian especially for New Vegas.
  • A recreation of the game’s highly coveted “Lucky 38″ platinum chip.
  • A hardcover graphic novel “All Roads” that tells the story of some of the characters and events that lead up to Fallout: New Vegas. “All Roads” was written by Chris Avellone, the game’s creative director, and created in conjunction with Dark Horse Comics.
  • “The Making of Fallout: New Vegas” DVD. This documentary DVD will contain exclusive video content, including interviews with the developers in which they take you from concept to creation and discuss topics such as story, setting, legacy of the Fallout franchise and more.

New Vegas Pre-Order Update: Coasters at Best Buy


Here’s an update on our pre-order plans for Fallout: New Vegas at Best Buy. With a $5 deposit on your pre-order (regular or Collector’s Edition), you’ll receive four collectible coasters themed after the casinos on the New Vegas strip. Additionally, you’ll still receive the Mercenary Pack shown here.

You’ve been asking, and now we’re answering: the Fallout: New Vegas pre-order details for much of Europe, Australia and South Africa are in, and we have the comprehensive breakdown.

Brink pre-order bonuses announced

Extend your customization options even further with the exclusive DOOM, Fallout, Psycho and Spec Ops packs. Get a collection of New Vegas coasters with a pre-order at Kmart


Today Kmart announced their pre-order plan for Fallout: New Vegas. With a $5 pre-order payment towards your copy of Fallout: New Vegas, you’ll receive four Fallout: New Vegas coasters. On one side of the coaster, you’ll see an image of Vault Boy, while the flip side features locations from the New Vegas strip.

In addition to the coasters, Kmart will also offer a $15 Video Game Savings coupon that will be redeemable the week Fallout: New Vegas releases. Offer begins Sunday, August 8th. Quantities will be limited and while supplies last. Additionally, this is an in store only offer — a there’s a limit of one coaster pack per customer.

Since announcing the Collector’s Edition and digital pre-order packs for Fallout: New Vegas, we’ve received questions here at Bethesda Blog and within our forums about both. Today we’re answering some of the most commonly asked questions.

If I already pre-ordered the game, will I still get the content offered by that store?

If you’ve already pre-ordered your copy of the game, you’ll receive whatever pre-order digital pack that store is offering. For instance, if you had already pre-ordered from Gamestop, you’ll receive the Classic Pack when you purchase and pick up the game upon it’s release.
